Not just a house, it's a home.

Words cannot describe how well we were treated at this chateau. The best I can think of: this is not just a house, this is a home. We felt so welcome, as if we were visiting old friends. Beautiful place, spacious and tastefully decorated rooms, huge garden surrounding it, heated swimming pool in the perfect afternoon sun, excellent cycling options in the area but most of all: extreme friendly owners who make you a delicious breakfast. We would love to stay here again. In fact, we're already looking forward to it!

This small charming chateau is a truly authentic experience. The owner is very welcoming and doting. We booked two nights but stayed three nights...it felt like home.

We arrived early but the owner and her sister were very welcoming. They made us coffee and let us check in early. The owner was wonderful and went out of her way to make us welcome. We were sorry to leave.

Truly authentic lived-in chateau. Madame is charming - helpful, informative and super friendly and speaks very good English if required. Rooms are individually furnished. Grand styling - not plush new. The most amazing antique murano glass chandelier that I’ve ever seen in the salon. Breakfast was a delight - delicious home made honey and yoghurt. A wonderful stay.

A charming period chateau with delightful hosts. Our room in the courtyard was lovely, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed our dips in the pool. We discovered that some of the breakfast ingredients were homemade by the mesdames, including delicious jams and yoghurt and the honey came from their own bees.

Excellent

Lovely château, clean, spacious room with very comfortable bed, we had a great sleep. Gorgeous château. Friendly host, good breakfast. Definitely one to go back too.

Le chateau est vraiment superbe! L'accueil est vraiment top! La literie est de très bonne qualité, cela faisait fort longtemps que je n'avais pas aussi bien dormi. Le cadre est vraiment magnifique et reposant. Je recommande vivement.

Nous avons passé un très agréable moment au Chateau de Nazé. Propriétaire très agréable et serviable. Cadre reposant. Dommage que le temps n'était pas de la partie car nous n'avons pas pu profité de tous les équipements mis à notre disposition à l'extérieur.

Lieu splendide et accueil chaleureux

Le château est magnifique (tant à l'extérieur qu'à l'intérieur), très bien situé et en excellent état. L'accueil est extrêmement chaleureux, le petit déjeuner savoureux et copieux. Rien à redire ; nous reviendrons !

Lovely chateau with amazing hostess

The chateau is so beautiful, I had a lovely view of the courtyard. Madame's breakfast each morning was a nice way to start the day. Last summer was abnormally hot and the pool was refreshing. I recommend this place without hesitation!

Que de charme !

Faites vous plaisir et retenez une chambre au Chateau de Nazé au lieu d'un hotel traditionnel à Saumur: accueil très sympatique et chaleureux par la propriétaire et sa soeur, super petit déjeuner , grande chambre et très belle sale de bain (nous étions dans le cottage attenant le chateau près de la piscine). Nous avons apprécié le calme, le grand parc et la vue sur le chateau en se réveillant. un super we!

Leuk, goed gelegen, kleinschalig kasteelhotel

Leuk rustig kleinschalig kasteelhotel, ligt slechts 10 autominuten van het interessante Saumur. Mooi en schoon zwembad met ligstoelen. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, goed gezamenlijk ontbijt. Geen airco (wij sliepen in een bijgebouw), maar dat past ook niet zo goed bij een historisch kasteel, wel een ventilator, de eerste nacht was het behoorlijk warm, daarna was het goed te doen. Grappig is dat in de slotgracht aan het einde van de dag diverse bevers actief zijn.
