We spent one night at La Ferme de Marpalu and absolutely loved it! The location is perfect—close to beautiful castles, with plenty of options to hike, explore, and enjoy nature. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. Ingrid and Jean-Paul are wonderfully warm and welcoming. Despite the snow and cold, Jean-Paul came out to greet us personally and gave detailed instructions so we could fully enjoy our stay. Their kindness truly made us feel at home. The bed is very comfortable, and the room is...

Wonderful private my owned hotel near chambord with cute sauna, spa and swimming pool perfect after a bike trip. Perfect breakfast with local produces. Loved it!

very cute!

This is by far the best experience! The host is a master chef & he offers to prepare a gourmet dinner for the guests paired with local wines. We experienced a 3 course meal created with the finest fresh ingredients, many from his garden. This was a 5 star restaurant rating for sure! The table setting, the attention to detail & the hosts genuine hospitality created our most delightful evening. Breakfast included in the morning was just as delicious with homemade jams & fresh breads along with...

Beautiful and quiet property. Wonderful staff and amenities. A small piece of heaven. Would love to return for a longer stay and bring our daughter.

Room was clean and comfortable. There was ample off street parking.

Great location, views of the chateau. Large grounds for walking, biking. Parking is not included, so that may be something the hotel could offer as a perk. Need to make reservations at nearby restaurants as location is slightly rural and isolated. Easy drive to Blois.

This hotel is a gem. It’s close to all the major chateaux but is situated in a beautiful forest. They had bikes for use that we enjoyed as a family. The room was beautiful, spacious, and clean. The power went out in the whole region unexpectedly due to an intense storm in the area. We had reservations for dinner, and they figured out how to make us a delicious dinner without power, set up a beautiful candle-lit table, and provided us electric candles for our room. The staff went above and...

Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

Lovely hotel. Wonderful staff.

Staff were tremendous: helpful and courteous. Room was great and the swimming pool was a bonus. Great location, close to the train station. Second stay for us.

It was a great experience to stay in the old Abby. Breakfast there was the best breakfast we had for our whole trip in France with great view seeing the Sein river and the bridge. We got there at night so it was a bit hard to find the entrance and there was no sign pointing to which door the reception is. The person who helped us to check in was very helpful. She even helped my friend carried the big luggage up the stairs. We stayed on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. Overall we are...

We loved staying here. So peaceful after Paris

Excellent property and very helpful snd friendly staff.

Great place amazing hosts dinner rooms greatly recommend it

This hotel is beautiful and very inviting. The rooms were a bit small, which was a challenge, but we made the most of it and got along ok. I would stay here again, but would ask for the largest room they have. The location was wonderful, and the property team was very kind. They need to mix up the menu, as they serve the same 3 items every night. We did ask for a different meal, and they somehow made it happen.

Audrey, our hostess, was so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious! We loved the local ingredients and home made yogurt, and all for a very reasonable price.
