"Beautiful old home from the 14th century. The house has a stunning view of the Pope's Palace across the river. The gardens are delightful and the breakfast that was provided was wonderful. The host was very kind and gracious and parking in their fenced in lot across from the house was a tight fit but available. The house is easily walkable to the center of town, were there are lots of dinning opportunities. I highly recomend this location if you like beautiful historic properties. "

"Avignon is a fantastic place to visit, and I am glad I was able to take my wife there to see it (I had visited it before, 40 years ago). La Banasterie was beautiful, clean, comfortable, safe and literally steps away from the major sites in Avignon. The owners were extremely helpful, even helping me figure out how to retrieve and item I left on the train. If we ever visit again, I would not hesitate to stay in this same location."

"Ma pire expérience dans un hôtel ou maison d'hôte. La maison est très belle est eu certainement un jour son heure de gloire mais elle est aujourd'hui vétuste. En arrivant, la propriétaire nous a informé que nous ne pouvions pas utiliser la douche car il y avait des problème de canalisations. Les toilettes était extrêmement sales et une odeur nauséabonde s'en dégageait. La chambre était dans un état de propreté douteux. Les draps semblait propres mais les couvertures sentait fort le tabac froid....

"This was our second stay with Ghislaine and every moment was perfect. Her home is beautifully decorated and so very comfortable. Breakfast was always delicious and her homemade jams and yogurt were a delight. While we were in her home, she prepared several amazing dinners with apertif. "We loved our stay here. The owners are very friendly, always happy to help and provide tips about the region.
