"Right across the river from the Musée de la Bande Dessinée! Requires a bit of an uphill hike to get to the center of town but there are also easy nearby bus stops to take you there. Service was fantastic, breakfast was tasty and the hotel is pretty neat. No AC though. "

"Maison spacieuse avec une superbe vue et des couchers de soleil au top. Accueil trÚs chaleureux avec en plus des mirabelles délicieuses!La maison est parfaitement équipée et trÚs propre, nous étions 16 au total. Calme assuré pour le repos mais proche de la ville de Brantome pour les visites, Aubeterre pour les balades en canoe et quelques beaux chateaux dans la région. Tout le monde a bien profité de la piscine qui était trÚs bien entretenue. Nous recommandons vivement! Merci beaucoup!!!"

"We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Le Relais. The house was lovely, traditional French. we were a family party of 20, 9 children ranging from 5-16 and 11 adults. The house had plenty of space for us all, the communal areas e.g. kitchen, dining room, living room, and outside space were fantastic. Barbara, the owner was there to welcome us and give us any advice required. the pool area was lovely and a big hit with the children, as was the games room. Free Wi-Fi was also very popular...

"We were a family of 13 people from ages 13 to 72 and we all had a wonderful time together. Fred was a very welcoming and supportive host. The setting is rural, but we found plenty to do out and about, particularly at Lac Jemaye and Aubeterre Sur Dronne. Our favourite family challenge was table tennis competitions and everyone enjoyed the pool. "
