"Great little place with very friendly staff, clean room and pool, very comfortable beds and pillows, effective air conditioning, nice rain shower with plenty of hot water, good location close to malecon and beach. Only improvements would be to provide bedside lamps—plenty of plugs but no lamps—and a bigger surface for stuff. "

"I have stayed there before and usually really enjoy it. This time was Valentines Saturday so there was a special menu requiring advanced reservations, so after driving 8 1/2 hours there was no access to the restaurant upon my arrival. I could not get the heat or hot water to work. Prices were higher than usual this stay but amenities were not the same as previous stays."

"We stayed at Casa Del Mar this past weekend. The house was in excellent condition, well equipped, clean, and comfortable. It is located on the second row from the sea, just a minute’s walk to the beach, with nearby steps leading down to the water. From the third-floor terrace there is a beautiful view of San Felipe and the ocean, a perfect spot to relax and spend time together. Communication with the host was quick and easy, and we had no issues at all. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Highly recommended for a vacation in San Felipe."

"The place is quiet, safe, and clean. What I didn’t like is the nasty access to the beach, it is horrible. You have to walk downhill in loose sand full of little pieces of concrete that can cut your feet if barefoot (don’t wear sandals, wear tennis shoes when walking to the beach) When you look at the condo pictures it makes you think the place is beach front, but it is not, it is behind a row of beach front condos so that was a little disappointing. The people that manage the unit are nice and friendly, kudos to them. "
