We were taken through the hotel, out the back ally, up some stairs to a different building and into a large undecorated room with a large patio with no view. "This hotel is right on the sea so I would recommend taking a sea view room. They have big suits that are very spacious. We took the best room comprised of a large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, living room, and media room. All of those were a decent size so it felt like living in your apartment. "I was there for only 2 nights, but was completely fine with the guesthouse. The room was very comfortable and clean with a balcony. The contact person Luigi is very friendly and informs you upfront with any services. Some cafes and bakerys are reachable in some minutes by feet."

"We had a great vacation at Salvatores house in Pace del Mela. The garden and pool are really big and are perfect to relax and have a good time. Everything was as described and shown in the pictures, we were very happy to spend our time there. The Check-in was easy and Salvatore always helped us quickly when we had a question. "We had only one night to stay in this hotel that seemed to be a five star in old days on our way back to Rome. Our room was very clean and spacious with a very nice view of the sea. I also enjoyed using the indoor swimming pool. The staff were also very nice and helpful. the breakfast was very limited and I think it was because not many people were staying at our time. By the way there was a pizzeria restaurant close by called Bambu. Their food was excellent "

"Got back from the Bagnara two days ago and had the most wonderful stay at Victoria Grand Hotel. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help and make my stay enjoyable. The hotels restaurant serves one of the best pasta dishes. A big shout out to Mirium and Perier who most helpful. The general manager Frank was amazing. He went out of his way to take us round the island and show us all the lovely spots. Had the most awesome stay and would recommend. Thank you to Frank, Mirium, Perier and all the staff working at the hotel. "

"I have great time to stay this guesthouse, wonderful arrangement to pick me up from train station, that’s what I saw the review from other guest and I followed. The location is good, walking distance to the train station, because I did day trips to the nearby little towns by train. After all, Francy is a very good manager (I didn’t ask her if she is the owner) and very helpful. I really really appreciate what you did, Francy! "

"Great hotel and the restaurant was outstanding. High recommend anyone who is looking to take the ferry to Messina the hotel is just a few steps away from the ferry option. Metro is close by for further discovery of the city. Hotel staff willing to assist and recommend. Outstanding crew!"

"Comfortable hotel with friendly staff. Well located for ferry port and train station, with tram to both for the less energetic. I checked in late Sunday afternoon which meant reception was not staffed, but intercom provided all information to get in and access key card. Very comfortable bed and perfect pillows. Shower was small, but then I'm quite large! Water temperature regulation was very sensitive. Overall a good stop over"
