Hidden Pond Gong Suite - Luxury , Pet Friendly, with Hot Tub and Private Beach

Located in Metchosin, just 30 minutes to Victoria or Sooke. Hidden Pond's luxury Gong Suite is the perfect romantic or family getaway for anyone looking for peace and tranquility. Spacious, two rooms with private entrance, basic kitchen facilities, luxury king bed, sofa bed, tastefully furnished with two sitting areas overlooking an amazing forest view makes this perfect for a couple or family. The suite includes the use of a hot tub, firepit, and just a short walk to our private beach, spring-fed swimming pond, orchard, and forest trails. The suite has a full-size bathroom with tub and shower, Air conditioning, Internet, TV, and basic kitchen (BQ with side-burner, kettle, coffee maker, breakfast grill, toaster oven, microwave, full-size fridge, sink and basic and spices and kitchen supplies. ) Pet-friendly and short and long stay rates are available.

Please note this suite has stairs and it is a walk down to the pond , so this might not be a great option for anyone who has mobility issues.

Our suite was very large, with all the amenities we could need. There were nice little touches such as cookies and muffins left for us. The location was great for what we were looking for- lots of trails and beaches. We would definitely stay here again.

Located in a very quiet and peaceful part of Metchosin. Close to beaches and shopping. Place was well equipped with extra treats to enjoy. Bed comfortable. Hosts extremely helpful. Hot tub was a nice treat. Highly recommend.

My wife and I just recently stayed at Hidden Pond for our 10th wedding anniversary. Everything was wonderful from check in to check out, our only regret was we had planned several activities in town and couldn’t spend more time on the property. If you get the opportunity, we highly recommend!!

Absolutely magical property - I would give it more than 5* if I could for the environment! The hidden pond really is beautiful and our golden retriever loved to swim in it. If we had been there for rest and relaxation, I would have enjoyed just sitting by the pond with a book. The Gong Suite was just fine - comfortable bed and couches. Jo-Ann was a great host and she left delicious muffins, cookies in the kitchen, and soda in the fridge. But - I had to mark it down a star for the kitchen amenities. It would be just fine if you expect to eat out (or bring in take out) each night but even though the promotion says "basic kitchen" I had expected that there would be room for food preparation and sufficient dishes (a pot, large bowl, etc) to use the BBQ side-burner, breakfast grill or even the toaster oven). BUT - for those who don't need/want to cook much - it really is a magnificent location and very comfortable.

Beautiful home and area

The accommodations were outstanding. We enjoyed the beautifully decorated rooms which made us feel right at home. The kitchen was well supplied, linens were luxurious, and the bed SO comfortable. Spending the day at the pond and walking the trails was very enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Amazing getaway

We had so much fun at this great getaway. Our granddaughters swam, explored, picked and ate blueberries and blackberries, made homes for frogs. And in the evening when we were tired there was plenty of room for them to lounge and watch their favourite tv shows.

Wish we'd had more time!

It was such a lovely spot with so much to do and see, I wish I had more time to just relax and enjoy everything on the property! Our dog loved it just as much as we did! He got to be off leash and make new friends and explore so much without us having to worry. It was a lovely getaway! We'll definitely be back

This suite and land surpassed my expectations. The land was beautiful and peaceful and quiet. I enjoyed the pool on a sunny day. The suite was so comfortable, I was able to rest and read and relax. Rob was very kind and accepting during my stay and was responsive to any potential need.

Beautiful property, excellent hosts!

I recently stayed in the Gong Suite for three nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was clean and very comfortable, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The highlights for me were the pond and nature trails, which provided ample places for me to walk and exercise my 5-year-old pup. If you are in the Metchosin area, Hidden Pond is the place to stay. I definitely am planning to return next year!

Spacious hideaway!

This property is a neat gem, situated a 15 minute drive from Goldstream Park in a quiet rural location. Great hosts, willing to accomodate our rescue dog and our funky schedule over the weekend. What an amazing stay!
