"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...

"The pictures listed for this stay don’t do it justice - the back patio is beautiful and the interior is very well equipped and decorated. Richard was an incredibly kind an attentive host. My friends and I loved hanging out on the front and back patios in the mornings, taking trips to Amsterdam during the day, and relaxing in the hot tub at night. Overall amazing stay! "W hi at an incredible surprise when we checked in. So much greater than the pics The History of the place, and all the amenities. The room was spectacular looking over the park and canal. So peaceful. Yet it was so close to everything. This was the crown jewel in our visit to Netherlands. We fell in love with Utrecht. I will recommend Karel-V as top place to stay. The staff were so helpful getting us to the hotel when we got lost. Sent a taxi for us. Thankyou so much for such a memorable time."

"Definitely recommend! I was only there for a night stop but I wish I would have stayed longer. The hotel was very well located, nice and clean. It was also pretty quiet when I was there and I slept very well. And I arrived pretty late because of a train delay but the staff were super nice and understanding."
