Interesting rustic house, located on the south bank of the river Lima. The beaches are located about 3 km away. Good access to the main communication routes (A28), being located about 35 minutes from Porto airport. Easy travel to the nearest cities Barcelos, Porto, Braga, Vigo (Spain) and one of the oldest Portuguese towns Ponte de Lima. Viana do Castelo is located on the north bank of the Lima River. This house is recently restored, decorated and with a walled lawn.

  • The Church of Santa Lucia, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, is located on the hill of the same name in the city of Viana do Castelo. The church was built on the site of a small medieval chapel, known as a pilgrimage site for people with eye diseases. The construction of the temple lasted from 1904 to 1959. The eclectic-style Miguel Ventura Terra project combines neo-romanticism, neo-Gothic and Byzantine architecture. It is generally accepted that the architect was inspired by the forms of the Sacre Coeur Basilica in Paris. To the foot of the church at a height of 195 meters above sea level there is a line of a funicular built in 1923. Tourists can take the elevator to the observation deck under the very dome of the church. A panoramic view of the Lima River valley, mountains and the Atlantic Ocean opens from the platform.
