Nice place to stay in the center, good location, clear instructions for check in and free and easy luggage storage. Room (uno) small but clean. Common kitchen with fridge and balcony. Bathroom very damp and a bit mouldy, needs more ventilation. All in all decent for the price.

Where to start? It must be easier to break into a bank than access this stay. Took 2.5 hours to access the room. Owner was prompt with whattsapp messages at first, but became unhelpful. He wanted us to cancel the booking (with no refund), likely to prevent us from writing this review. Pleaae read the small print when booking this room. It is private bathroom and bedroom, but a shared apartment. Shared kitchen and shared deck. The young family staying in the adjoining room seemed as confused about entry as we were. TV was the size of a computer monitor and the sink in our bathroom was plugged with something vile. The only redeeming feature of this stay was the proximity to the old town. Caveat Emptor!!!

We had to do the online-checkin process 3 times. The 3rd one we had to do it outside the building, under the sun at 35 degrees centigrades because they didn't have the confirmation of the previous checkins in their system, evethough ee already had received the confirmation #. All the communication with the responsible of the hotel was via Messages. After 40 minutes under the sun, he finally sent us the codes to access the building and the room. The room was ok, but the a/c capacity wasn't enough for the area. The room had a kitchenette with pans and utensils, but there were not any dishes or glasses to serve at least a bowl of cereal or a sandwich The wifi never worked, and they never answered our messages even after we insisted

PÉSSIMO LUGAR

Péssimo, fiquei 3 dias sem banho, nao tinha agua quente, expliquei ao proprietário que nao havia água quente..e o mesmo me passou que nao tinha o que fazer o boiler era pequeno, pedi mais cobertas e nao fui atendido...no ultimo dia ja nao havia mais papel higiênico..quando entrou mais hóspedes no local, ja nao tinha agua quente pra nada dizia ao proprietário e o mesmo me falava q os outros nao reclamavam, mas claro usavam tudo e nos ficavamos sem, tirando que a unica coberta que havia esta toda suja.

Posizione ottimale (dietro l’Arena di Verona) per ristoranti, caffè e luoghi di interesse. Comode anche le modalità di accesso alla struttura, compreso il deposito esterno per i bagagli, poco distante. Casa pulita, silenziosa e ordinata con bagno privato. Davvero nulla da eccepire, da riprovare volentieri.

No pude entrar a la habitacion, se hace mediante cerraduras electrónicas y al momento de intentar entrar a la habitacion, el cerrojo estaba apagado y al reiniciarse no obedecía comandos de la aplicacion y nunca pude entrar, no me permitió ponerme en contacto con el anfitrion y tuve que reservar en otro hotel… pésimo

La struttura è vicinissima all'Arena, in una posizione perfetta per chi come noi deve andare ad un concerto. Mi è piaciuta tantissimo proprio per la comodità e sicuramente ci tornerò quando vengo a Verona. Il parcheggio Cittadella è vicino, in 10 minuti si raggiunge.

Good but basic

The room and the flat itself is clean and fit for the purpose. The flat is very centrally located and close to everything you need. Please be aware that as in the description, this is just a flat where you share the accommodation with others. This is not a B&B and no service is provided whatsoever. Please be aware you will pay late check-in fees if you do not check-in by 6pm. The fees are €10 for check-in by 10pm and I believe €20 after 10pm and must be paid in cash when the landlord hands you the keys. You will also have to pay €15 cleaning fees and €10 city tax (€2.5 per person per night). The flat itself is not bad it has a nice terace and the rooms are clean. However, the smell from the bathroom is unbearable. It was fine the first night but it started getting so bad it was uncomfortable being in the flat. Not sure if this is a sewer system issue but I'd recommend looking into.

Soggiorno di 1 sola notte a Verona per motivi di salute. Siamo state molto bene il miniappartamento si presta a soggiorni più lunghi. Dotata di tutti i confort e vicinissima al centro storico, non molto panoramica dalla finestra si vedevano solo muri e uno scorcio dell'Arena. Ma ci torneremo volentieri . Voto 9

Very Nice but NOT A HOTEL

Sometimes you want to stay in a hotel. Perhaps you want concierge service or help with your bags or you just feel like treating yourself. Ai Duchi was lovely, but it was NOT A HOTEL. This is not a failing on Ai Duchi's part. It's a failing on the part of Hotels.com. ALSO... Ai Duchi is an apartment in a building with both offices and homes. There are many bells on the outside, but none that say Ai Duchi. We had to call the landlord who came over with the keys.

This is not a hotel, it’s not even a B&B. There’s absolutely no service what so ever. It’s an apartment with very little else. Expedia should make it very clear rather than putting it together with the general lodging options without obvious mentioning. There’s a limited arrival time and you need to clear out by 10:30am. No onsite person, the en-suite bathroom was tiny and the shower water hardly flows. Did I mention that they don’t even have or give you covers for the bed, and expect you to sleep under a single sheet. If this was a hotel, it would be in a one star category rather than 4 star. There’s something terribly wrong with the star system here by Expedia. The only plus of the place is a great location. If you don’t mind roughing up for a one night sleep under a flat sheet, and with a tear drop shower, and clear out in the early morning, for an extremely convenient location. Then it may work for you.

Bien reçue mais un peu rapidement. On nous a demandé 25£ dont 10 pour les taxes de séjour (normal) mais on nous a demandé 15£ de + alors qu'on avait payé les frais à hotel.com. bémol pour la salle de bain en face de la chambre mais un plus pour la cuisine intégrée bien utile et un énorme plus pour la situation à 50m des arènes.

Based on the listing (which I had not read carefully), I was expecting more a traditional hotel than an AirBNB-style apartment. But the host was very quick to respond to my phone call when I was confused by not finding the hotel. The room I had was not large, but clean, well-lighted, and comfortable. My room has its own private bathroom, but to access it I had to enter the shared kitchen area. Not a big deal as I was just there by myself, for one night. Location is perfect: literally a few steps from the arena and other destinations.
