Lots of kids, average hotem

Nice pool, kids activities, lots of kids, not walkable at all. Front desk service great, dining staff - ok- we had a bad experience at dinner but breakfast was fine. AC was not strong. Made it difficult to sleep.

We had a lovely couple of days here with our 5 year old who loved the pool! Very close to Lidl. Make sure you buy your Venice day pass tickets from reception before you head out.

We was a great hotel stay. Hotel looked clean and modern. The air-conditioning worked. They had rentable umbrellas. The restaurant and drinks were wonderful at normal prices. The breakfast was great. They had fruit, bread assortment, sweet assortment, eggs, bacon sausage and great coffee. The staff was very accommodating to our needs and requests. They were also very pleasant. Highly recomend this hotel at this location. I would love to return.

A basic modern hotel with all the facilities you would expect. Let down by cost cutting such as small, disposable paper cups in the room instead of glasses, and mugs for tea etc. the infrastructure in the rooms is looking tired and worn, albeit serviceable. The food was good - apart from the dried out focaccia (avoid) - and the breakfast staff were lovely

The hotel was nice and smart, reception staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and useful for the kids as got very hot. The bar and restaurant staff were not so friendly and didn’t feel welcome especially at breakfast when all the staff looked really fed up and super speedily whisked the breakfast away as soon as possible. We had an ant infestation in our room because of food left under the bed from previous guests, the first day we arrived. I think we were unfortunate and generally the hotel was good and perfect with kids.

After staying at the novatell, Inn Athens, I expected much more in the way of service and amenities. Unfortunately, at this location, they penny pinch everything or not super friendly or accommodating on any level the hours of operation for both the restaurant, and the pool are ridiculous as well as the fact that you can’t order drinks and sit outside by the pool in some areas without ordering food as well even when the restaurant is closed, this hotel needs to step it up a notch if they think it’s worth going out of their way to stay there when they’re not local to anything and taxis are fortune. I definitely would not go back to this location of novatell.

It is a lot to describe, simply not easy for families who are travelling by public transport. And when you booked that time the local charge was not described. It's very expensive when you travel by taxi to the hotel or travel towards the airport or anywhere else. It's hard for people who speak the English language to understand the signs and notices. Too much time is wasted discovering every thing.

I woke up with bite marks all over my legs. I’m freaking out that they may have bed bugs in their room. I attempted to call to speak to the manager regarding this, and was told that they weren’t in, that they were in a meeting etc. I told the front desk person what the problem was and they told me to call back, and then to send an email with my concern. I told them bed bugs are a SERIOUS issue that they need to check and address right away. They told me to write an email. I got a hold of the Expedia rep and they said they would advocate for me and that someone would follow up with them. It’s been 2 days and I have heard nothing. I will be disposing if my items upon returning home and hope to god no one else picks them up upon their travels. No feedback from hotel, no one reached out, no help whatsoever. Just stress for the whole family.
