The Hotel Montecarlo is in a fantastic location for Venice sightseeing and shopping. The staff is first class (their English is amazing and they take extremely good care of you)! The hotel gives Americans all that they dreamed about Italy rolled into one. Plus, the breakfast is really good if you desire. The only drawback is the size of the room (we were in their smallest). The pics make their room look much larger than they are, and the showers are tiny (don’t try to wash your feet if you have any size on you). Overall, I would stay again, but would want their largest room.

We had a group of 32 people at the hotel , I started the process of booking almost one year prior our trip and from the start I was very happy with the staff I called, emailed and always they were very cordial and friendly, I would love to go back to Venice and stay at their hotel , very clean , nice and the best staff we could have! Love it!

Staff was wonderful but we didn’t get a room in the main hotel. We were in an adjacent building on the 5th floor with no elevator. Air conditioning was insufficient and property did not match the description of what we purchased.

The staff at this hotel couldn’t have been nicer. We arrived earlier than check-in and were greeted warmly and allowed to check in two hours early. We were very appreciative, since we had flown in on the red eye. We also had a wonderful breakfast included daily, as well as desserts, tea, and coffee between 4 and 6 pm. The location of the hotel was perfect to see all the sites. I would’nt hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

The hotel has an excellent breakfast and the staff cleaned the rooms well. The rooms are small so keep that in mind. The air conditioning worked well. It wasn’t America level air conditioning but the room was cool and comfortable. It is easy to get to this hotel from the airport. You take the water bus from the airport to San Marco (St. Marks Square) and then walk only a few minutes to the building. The restaurant nearby, La Piazza, is excellent. I recommend this hotel if you’d like to be close to St. Marks Square.
