"I was traveling from Austin, TX to Grand Junction, CO and needed a pet friendly place to stay. I started my drive late and didn't arrive in Amarillo until about 4AM but had booked my room using Expedia while stopping for gas. When I arrived the night concierge was prompt to arrive when I followed the instructions to page them. They were very helpful and got me sorted quickly for how late it was. Expedia didn't mention a pet deposit but the concierge explained it to me and was very helpful in adding the nonrefundable deposit to my card. The room was clean, had lots of amenities and the A/C worked well. I had an easy time checking out, it was seamless. Also, all the staff I met were cheerful and polite! The maintenance staff on duty when I was checking out, when he saw my dog, even explicitly mentioned the dog treats at the counter and encouraged me to get one for my pup. Even though it was a short stay for me, for the price ($99 +tax +$40 pet deposit) it was so worth it to be able to rest. The bathroom worked well as well, water was hot instantly. I'll stay here again when traveling with my pet through Amarillo. Thank you staff for the wonderful visit!"

"I drive from CO to TX regularly and have stayed at a lot of road-side hotels on the route. I usually travel with dogs and bikes, which require a large, pet friendly room. This was the largest and nicest room, in the value space, with a reasonable pet-fee, that I've stayed at in several years, and will become my spot to-stop on the route moving forward. The only thing that could use improvement, was the coffee/breakfast situation - but again, what was there was serviceable. We look forward to staying there again in the future!"
