Highly recommended.

Very nice and clean house. Heating, hot water and WiFi. work fine. Ideal for people who want to hike and spent a few days far away from tourist centers in a calm area. I would highly recommend this spot.

Genieten van rust en omgeving

Vier weken verbleven in het huis Casa Rural. Voor ons was alles aanwezig wat we nodig hadden. Het contact met de eigenaars was eenvoudig: ze wonen in dezelfde buurt. Praatje maken of contact via de app: prima, prima. Wij hebben genoten!

Romantisches Haus im kanarischen Stil

Ein schnuckliges, romantisches Haus inmitten der bergigen Landschaft oberhalb von San Mateo. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für die Selbstversorgung braucht. Das Platzangebot ist großzügig und hier finden sicherlich auch 6 Personen gut Raum. Vor dem Haus kann man den Garten mit mehreren Sitzmöglichkeiten, einem Grill und Pool genießen. Die Vermieter sind zauberhaft, freundlich und lassen den Gästen die Privatsphäre. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig. Als wir ankamen warteten auf uns ein Obstkorb und ausreichend Mineralwasser. Die Umgebung von San Mateo sticht durch eine üppige Vegetation hervor. In den umliegenden malerischen Städtchen gibt es mehr als ausreichend Möglichkeiten zum einkaufen oder essen gehen. Wir waren Mitte März hier und abends sank die Temperatur schon auf unter 10 Grad. Im Haus befinden sich für solche Tage zusätzliche Heizkonvektoren und eine Klimaanlage, die auch heizen kann- somit kein Problem. Da das Haus ziemlich zentral auf der Insel liegt, lassen sich von hier aus in alle Richtungen Exkursionen starten (Mietwagen ist hier Pflicht 😅 ). Wir können die Location sehr empfehlen !!

Super charmantes Ferienhäuschen in ruhiger Lage - ideal als Wanderausgangspunkt

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Ferienwoche mit unseren beiden Jungs und haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Vom rustikalen, ursprünglichen Ambiente, über die bezaubernde, ruhige Umgebung, bis hin zur überaus liebenswerten Gastgebern Maria und ihrem Mann hat alles gepasst. Nach jedem Ausflug haben wir uns auf die Rückkehr in "unser" Häuschen samt Garten u erfrischendem Pool gefreut. Vielen Dank noch msl für alles. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Para repetir!

Nos encantó la casa, tiene hasta el ultimo detalle que pueda hacerte falta. La terraza enormee y muy bonita. Todo muy limpio, en resumen un lugar con encanto. La anfitriona super amable en todo momento, ademas ella misma tiene una tiendita justo al lado que cualquier cosa que te hace falta no hay ni que coger coche. Un ambiente de paz y tranquilidad, repetiremos seguro!

Extremely lovely and cozy

La Asomada was a great place to discover! The house itself is extremely lovely and it was easy and fast to feel that María and Francisco not only know how to take care of their guests, as well as they do it with much love. The house comfortably hosts 6 people. We were 2 though, so we enjoyed the place for ourselves. The kitchen was very cute and well equipped - it included a blender which was like a dream for me, and form my soup addiction. There were also fruits and water upon our arrival, which made us happy! The bedroom was super cozy and the bed very comfortable, with clean and soft bed clothes. The heating system was very decent! We mainly enjoyed having breakfast in the terrace, looking at mountains! And after a day of surfing or hiking around, we looked forward to return home, to La Asomada! We also enjoyed dancing around listening to the local radios! There is quite of privacy, which we appreciated a lot. We highly recommend it :) María was not only a host, she was a friend! And it is very worth to spend some time talking to both María and Francisco - we enjoy it very much. Great people to meet, great place to experience! Cierto que si podemos, vamos a volver! Gracias por todo :)

La somada muy agradable

Nos hemos hospedado en la casa La Asomada durante el periodo del 11de enero al 18de enero de 2017. Nuestras vacaciones fue muy, muy agradable. La casa era tamtambién muy agradable. Sentarse en el jardin tenia desayuno. Los panecillos frescos que nos trajo con Paco. Y caminatas en los hermosos alredores. El puebl de San Mateo es bonito visitar. Los propietarios, Maria y Paco, son muy amable. Hemos tenido una estancia muy agradable en esta dirección. Mucho amor a Maria y Paco por Bernard y Nelly, Jankie y Cees.

100% recomendable

Estuve una semana en esta casa, donde el motivo principal fue buscar tranquilidad y totalmente este lugar invita a ello. El entorno es muy agradable con muy buenas vistas que se pueden observar desde la casa y si lo que apetece es caminar...aquí no hay problema pues se encuentra en plena naturaleza. La casa es muy amplia y acogedora, disponiendo en la cocina de un montón de utensilios. Lo que más me gustó fue el exterior, ya que dispone para barbacoa y para estar tranquilamente tomando el sol y disfrutando de un libro sin que nadie invada tu intimidad. También el porche fue otra zona de la casa donde disfruté bastante, pues dispone de un cómodo sofá para descansar. Agradecer desde aquí la gran hospitalidad de los dueños (Pino y Paco) que son un verdadero encanto, siempre dispuestos ayudar cuando necesitas algo y respetando totalmente la intimidad de la casa. Me quedé muy agradecida con ellos. Da gusto conocer personas así, por lo que les mando un beso desde aquí.

Very good time!!

We have been here for 3 weeks in 2013 and now we are back again. If you like peace and quietness come to Asomada. You can walk and enjoy the mountains. If you want to visit the beach you can drive to Las Palmas or even to Maspalomas. The island is not too big and can be driven around in one day. The house is very nice. If you want you can stay here with 6 persons! Everything is there in the kitchen (including a oven and microwave), so if you like you can cook for your family. The grocery store is nearby in Vega de San Mateo or you can buy your food in the shop of the owners of the casa rural. You can also go out for dinner, but al lot of restaurants are closed during the evening. The house is very clean and the owners are very nice. Maria speaks very good English. If you like to speak Spanish you can practice your Spanish with the owners. Because the place is very quite you can sleep very well. The beds are good and we have had a very nice sleep. After 3 weeks we were totally relaxed.

Maravilloso fin de ciclo

Acabamos de volver de Gran Canaria, la última isla que nos quedaba por visitar y ha sido genial. Nos decidimos por casa rural en vez de hotel para estar más libres y hemos acertado de pleno. Lo primero, los dueños son un cielo, y han sido muy amables y han estado muy pendientes. Nos dejaron agua, fruta, café, ... La casa está muy bien, aunque como es grande, mejor para más gente que para sólo dos personas, pero en cualquier caso está fenomenal, y tiene de todo: un montón de cacharros en la cocina, micro, horno, tele, radiadores (sí, en Canarias a veces también se duerme tapado...), en fin, de todo. Maravillosos el jardín y la barbacoa. La situación de la casa excelente, en medio de la isla, aunque eso sí, no es la mejor opción si quieres playa. Pero si quieres ver la isla, la casa está justo en el centro. Resumiendo, se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo.

Fin de semana genial!

Pino y Paco - gente encantadora! - muy amables y dispuestos a ayudar o ofrecer cualquier cosa que necesitabamos. Incluso la tiendita al lado de ellos fue practico al tenerlo a mano. La zona es muy tranquila y pudimos descansar MUY bien. La calidad de los colchones, sabanas y mantas - excelente. La zona de afuera con barbacoa - fue lo mejor - pasamos mucho tiempo ahi! En especial los troncos para centarse cerca de la brasa. El equipamiento en el cocina - MUY bien - tenian de todo! La unica sugerencia que daria es que la presion del agua en la ducha fue poca y habia 'truco' para llegar a tener agua caliente suficiente y no lo sabiamos y lo descubrimos un poco tarde..... Tambien tendria mas sistema de calefaccion - mas estufa o algo.... ya que la casa se enfria bastante. pero con las abundantes mantas nos acomodamosl!. Recomendaria esta casa y repetiremos! Excelente Casa Rural y sus propietarios.

Hola. Acabamos de regresar a casa despúes de haber estado cinco días en esta casa rural. Me faltan palabras y adjetivos para calificar o describir a sus propietarios, .Pino y su marido Paco, excelentes personas que se han portado muy bien con nosotros, un trato familiar y una casa que vale la pena. El lugar estupendo y de fácil acceso. Felicidades a sus propietarios por la casa y su amabilidad. Saludos y hasta la próxima porque protememos volver a verlos.

EXTRAORDINARIA

Ayer volví de pasar 16 días en esta casa, parte con mi pareja, parte con mi madre y algunos días incluso los 3 juntos y ha sido genial. La casa es muy grande y bien acondicionada con unos muros super anchos que son buenos para el tema de la temperatura, pero lo mejor es el jardín con sus perales, ciruelos, romero y una barbacoa genial donde igual te asas unos chorizos que te comes unas peras sin pasar por la fruteria. Los dueños son de quitarte el sombrero, super amables y permitiendo que mantengas tu intimidad en todo momento. Gracias a Pino, Paco y Lorena por haberse portado tan bien con estos peninsulares. Si volvemos a Gran Canaria volvemos a esta casa sin dudarlo. Muchos besos
