"The property itself was gorgeous. Loved having access to the pools and being a very short walk from multiple beaches. Was not a huge fan of the buffet dinners offered but there are plenty of restaurants a short walk away"

"Minos Palace is a gorgeous property with wonderful staff and top notch service. The hotel was able to arrange a taxi for us from and to the airport. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room with a nicer sea view, received a very warm welcome with a welcome drink and tour of the hotel. The food is excellent, every staff member is very friendly and attentive, and the amenities were fantastic - spa, restaurant, lounge area with live music & DJ, pool, beach, and wellness activities like yoga and sound baths. It's also a short walk to the town. I would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation in a beautiful setting, and would easily stay here again. "One of those places one wishes to keep a secret. A place that’s beautiful day and night with a breathtaking view, open air sunset dinning and wonderful fresh food. Amazing breakfast buffet for every taste..The property is removed but at the same time located that the (fishing) village of Agios Nikolaos can be reached in walking distance. Best time MidMay to early June and mid-September to October before and after the turnover crowds arrive … and stay at least 10 days/2 weeks to allow 2 or 3 days for exploring the historical sights of Crete"

"Lovely resort, incredibly family friendly. Kids club is great if child is over 3 years old. Very relaxing stay, only downside is beach is quite rocky compared to others visited in Crete, but you can always use the pool. "

"It is one of the most beautiful places we've had the great fortune to experience, and it is so beautiful that we didn't leave the resort during our entire 3-day stay. From start to finish, every detail was considered, and every need was taken care of. The team is welcoming and kind, and the location is absolutely stunning. While visiting with my partner (our kids left at home), we were keenly aware of how family-friendly the resort is, a pro for the many happy groups around us. If you plan to visit in May as we did, know the water will be fresh (!), and private pools might be too chilly to truly enjoy - though they'll still offer the perfect backdrop for some of the best photos you may ever take! "Old resort needs a bit construction We got the royal vila room The bathroom wasnt good We had no phone line in the room to call reception so we had to go all the time Never fixed even i asked 4 times The bathroom they fixed after the second day Food was so so.. iv seen beter in other hotels The hotel is big and far from any place to go "
