"A beautiful hotel, the oldest in Kortrijk. My second time staying there, room was lovely, breakfast was good, convenient for shops and has its own car park"

"We stayed three nights at this hotel. It was an easy walk from the train station (10-15 minutes) and close to many shops and restaurants. We arrived about 90 minutes before check in and were told that our room was not ready (understandable). We weren’t offered the chance to store our bags with the hotel while we waited so we had to drag around our suitcases for a while. We found a nice outdoor cafe attached to the Abbey which was close by so just had a drink there while we waited for our room to be ready. Our room (#5) was bright and had very high ceilings. Lots of storage and a well-equipped bathroom. Clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was on the smaller side but nicely curated with tasty options (coffee, juice, fruit, toast, yogurt, cheeses, sliced meats, pastries etc). They will also cook eggs to order. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again."

"We stayed as a family of five, using four of the bedrooms, in August 2025. The house and garden were absolutely perfect—I'd happily live there! Heidi, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Everything ran smoothly with no issues at all. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with spices, oils, and other essentials, and we were welcomed with a lovely package of beer and sweets. We'd be delighted to return in the future. If I had to make one small suggestion, it would be to add shelves in the shower cubicles to keep toiletries off the floor. That said, it's a very minor point—more of a “my diamond shoes are too tight” kind of comment! Thank you for allowing us to stay in this beautiful home!"
