「We've stayed here twice. It's the ultimate spot for seclusion but it's just right down the road from Leakey, Lost Maples SP, Utopia and Garner SP. The drive from Vanderpool to Leakey is next level. The cabin is cozy with an awesome fireplace and comfortable beds. It's definitely our go-to spot if we want to be near Garner or Lost Maples. We will be back. 」

「This beautiful home and property provided exactly what we needed. A place to de-stress, relax, breathe and watch nature surrounding you. There was an army of hummingbirds and cardinals plus a few lazy squirrels. We enjoyed the Sabinal river on the property and being able to watch the kids having fun floating and make marshmallows on the fire pit. All in all exactly what we needed.. We will be back for sure.」

「The property was beautiful , clean and close proximity to Garner State park and restaurants . Our host was very kind and accommodating, he’s the best ! We rented the wagon , bed was comfortable but it could be a bit hot when it’s 91F outside. The air conditioning unit can’t handle. We will be back when it’s not too hot.」

「We stayed while celebrating family graduates. Very close to the water and an easy walk, clean, and everything we needed was provided. It was a quiet area, but not too far from stores and restaurants, etc. We enjoyed it!」

「We loved the cabin. Plenty of shade and trees to hang a swing and hammock from. Had so many activity items like corn hole, big jenga blocks, uno cards, and dominoes (to name a few). 「Overall the whole property was awesome. Perfect location and the river access parking was very helpful. We were able to unload at the river and it was a very short walk to the parking area for the river access. 「My wife and I (and our two dogs) truly loved our stay here. The house was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. My dogs absolutely loved running around the yard while we sat on the front porch listening to the hummingbirds buzz around. We also both agreed that the pictures don't do the location justice, it is a beautiful property in a beautiful part of Texas. We hope to make it back here again in the future. 」
