"Great setting and quite"

"A beautiful small hotel with outstanding views. Although it is up a steep hill, the hotel, although basic, is everything you need for a few days stay. The restaurant next door is very good, and used by touists and locals alike. If you are hiking, the hotel has lots of info on trails and is near the start of most main routes."

"Very nice rustic hotel."

"The property is beautiful, you just want to hang out and enjoy the pool, the view, the lovely restaurant and bar. The proprietor was so kind and helpful and the breakfast in the morning was a 10+. We would love to go back!"

"Close to hiking. Clean Comfortable. Dinner at restaurant was excellant."

"Lovely rural authentic hotel in Alpujarra. Good base for exploring. Excellent service - thank you Victor. Nice breakfast to start your day. Coffee, tea, bar and snacks available. No dinner available but bar/restaurant across the street and two small restaurants a short walk away. Quiet and peaceful location. Parking just outside hotel. "

"The Hotel Real Poqueira is in a very nice location in the upper section of town, right next to some of Capileira's best restaurants. Our room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. You need to park in one of the public lots, several over which are very close--though were very full when we arrived. Great stay!"

"Habitación muy limpia y espaciosa. Restaurante/bar estupendo. Un magnifico alojamiento para conocer La Calahorra "

"This is a very modern small hotel in the middle of nowhere! Excellent rooms, excellent service. I plan to stay there again in my future trips to the area."

"Given lovely convenient villas for family."

"We loved everything about this hotel (location, cleanliness, amenities, and friendly and helpful hosts). Would highly recommend."

"Great location for hiking base, accommodating hosts, restaurant downstairs."

"An older-style hotel with great character. Fabulous pool. "

"The rooms were decent, it’s just an older hotel which needs a renovation. The bathroom was clean but outdated and smelled like raw sewage."

"Very good place for stay"

"The staff were very helpful and kind, the rooms have a wonderful alpine lodge feel to them, the view was amazing."
