Street where the hotel is one of the nicest in the center of Valladolid, great location - quiet, plenty of restaurants and other shops, partially closed to traffic in the evenings. Garden was peaceful with the occasional waft of fragrance from the perfumery next door. Breakfast served in the garden was excellent - and service from Daniel was great. I think there are only 3 rooms so guests get friendly, personal service from all of the staff.

Wonderful experience, small boutique hotel with beautiful gardens and off-street private parking in the back. If you're looking for major hotel chain offerings like room service and television - then this isn't for you. If you want charm, character and a small, private building with an absolutely charming garden to drink your morning coffee and breakfast , then you will love this place. Situated in a perfect location on the best walkable street in the city.

The property was easy to find and they had parking directly in front or in their own car park at the far end of their excellent garden. This was accessed via the next parallel street. Staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was larger than we required and very good. Room and all areas were kept clean. Good storage in the bedroom with a safe and fridge and free beverages inside. With only 3 bedrooms available the place is not buzzing. It was easy to access the town for shopping and site seeing. No alcohol available from the cafe in the hotel and the dinner menu was a little restrictive, however, there were no objections to bringing in your own. We stayed for 3 nights.

el hotel es muy lindo, de tres recamaras solamente. muy bien ubicado y con muy buena atención. en la recamara principal con salida a la terraza habían arañas, y nos cambiaron de habitación, a otra menos linda, pero sin ese problema. tuvimos mala suerte por este cambio, ya que esa habitación era muy linda, pero comprendemos que es una zona muy caliente y selvática. el hotel en verdad nos gusto, la gerente muy amable al igual que el staff que nos atendió.

This was a gem of our road trip through the Yucatan. We loved our stay here. Parking was connected to the property in a quiet lot. The street was great for shopping and restaurants located right by the hotel. The staff was very friendly and room had a great view of the street. The courtyard was so peaceful, shaded, and relaxing. They also served an amazing breakfast right in the courtyard.

Best hotel in Valladolid!
We stayed in Valladolid for three nights, and used the city as a jumping-off point for visits to Chichen Itza, Ek Balam, surrounding cenotes, and a few other points of interest. Verde Morada Hotel Encuentro was a great hotel! The room was comfortable, it was in a safe neighborhood within easy walking distance of the city center and many restaurants/shops, and the secure on-site parking was a bonus. A particularly nice feature was the generous breakfast they offer as a part of your stay there. With an ideal location and such friendly staff, you can't go wrong with this hotel!

Hotel on best street in town
Beautiful hotel with garden on the town’s best street. A lot of charm. The garden is a charming place for breakfast, and the food is good. They’re a little cheap though… coffee with breakfast is extra. They offer a complementary drink but don’t have any alcohol. Still, definitely recommended. And is you’re looking for great music and atmosphere, check out Mezcaleria Don Trejo A few doors down.

Our stay in this property was magnificent. Our room was small but very quaint and impeccably clean. The grounds were gorgeously manicured and breakfast exceeded expectations. The property is also located on a lovely street across from a delicious empanada restaurant, boutiques and a perfumery. Everyone we encountered was friendly. We plan to travel to Valladolid again and stay at this hotel. I don’t have a single negative thing to say. Everything was amazing.

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at. The best part is eating breakfast outside in the lush garden. The location of the hotel is awesome. I'd say it's the best place to be in the city. It is about a 5 min walk to downtown square. It is next to a lot of really cute shops and restaurants. Hot water is iffy. But I never expect a full hot shower in small hotels. I managed about 6-8 m of hot water. The staff is friendly and helpful.

This is a great property. The staff and facilities were beyond our expectations. A lot of properties of this nature call themselves "boutique hotels" but this truly is!. The attention to detail and to guests was outstanding!. Highly recommend it.

Great place to stay in Valladolid
This was a quaint space in a great location in the city. The staff was amazing and very friendly. The included breakfast was beyond generous with a full menu and very high quality food. The rooms are quaint with nice access to the rear garden area. Unfortunately the bed was quite hard for my tastes, so I didn't sleep well, but everything else more than made up for it, and I would stay there again.

This hotel is beautiful, and its location is great. The front desk staffs are very friendly and helpful. We love the complimentary welcome drinks, and the breakfast is amazing. I highly recommend to stay here when you visit Valladolid!

Great small hotel in a central street in Valladolid. Has a wonderful large outdoor garden to sit and enjoy your breakfast (included), and a small pool for a dip), all very quaint and unique. Also absolutely gorgeous tile floors to admire all around. Great service as well. Highly recommended

I do not typically leave reviews but this place deserves the accolades - it is one of the most beautiful little hotels I have ever seen. So stylish and quaint. Absolute perfection
Verde Morada did everything right and I will always cherish my stay there. The staff is amazing, the service is great, and the gardens and pool are a paradise. The location and property can't be beat. It's a 5 minute walk to the ADO bus station or the city square. We will be back!

The property was absolutely beautiful. From the outside of the hotel, to the reception, the room, the common areas, and of course the pool, were breathtaking. Exceptionally clean as well. Service was phenomenal, they went above and beyond for my mom and I and they were extremely friendly. The young lady at the front desk made our stay so wonderful, even though we were only there for one night and had a very early flight to catch. Do yourself a favor and book this hotel; it’s beautiful, perfectly located near shops and restaurants, it’s on the calzada, only has three rooms so it’s very exclusive and private, and the staff is beyond nice. Will be visiting again!

I loved the receptionist, Juan, who made me feel very comfortable for check-in. He recommended some things to do in the area. The room had a charming, older feel but was equipped with great AC, a good bed, and a nice bathroom and products. The hotel also has a lovely garden and pool area. I miss it already!

Great location
This hotel has a good location. It is between the main city sites - the cathedral (downtown) and the convent. It is located on the street with all the artisan boutiques, coffee shops and restaurants. I will stay here again when visiting Valladolid.

An Excellent Stay
Super nice and accommodating staff. The room, pool/garden was quiet and peaceful. The included continental breakfast was perfect for me and husband enjoyed the other breakfast menu items. You can walk a few blocks to shopping, dining and Valladolid sites. Overall, it was an excellent stay.

We stayed 4 nights at Verde Morada and The service was excellent! The room was very comfortable and clean. We parked (for free!) directly in front of the hotel. The continental breakfast was perfect.

It is not really a hotel. There are only 3 rooms, all of them small, only one has a view to the lovely garden. This is room is at the lobby and so noise levels from staff were an issue. Also the garden is open to the customers who eat at the cafe. Not exactly private. Pool is dirty. Would go have lunch there, not stay the night.

Dear guest thanks for your feedback. Verde Morada is an old colonial house that is located on the most beautiful street in Valladolid. The house was remodeled to become a small boutique hotel. Our pool is surrounded by the vegetation of the Mayan jungle, under trees with more than 300 years old. That is why it is inevitable that leaves fall in the pool, but it is constantly cleaned. If there was 6 stars I would give it that! WOW! Where do I begin? We felt like the only guests in this charming traditional Mexican 3 bedroom bed and breakfast. Beautiful private grounds with a small pool, fountains and hot tub with classical music playing in the trees while the attentive staff anticipate your every request. We had originally booked 2 nights, but extended our stay in Valladolid (after our first morning breakfast) because it exceeded every expectation we had. The staff was very helpful with local restaurant suggestions, things to do and the breakfast made in the neighboring café deserves a Michelin star! I can't wait to return and use it as our home base to see more of the cenotes and Yucatan peninsula. DO NOT HESITATE!!!!

Amazing stay
Great and relaxing stay at Verde Morada. Very cute hotel of only 3 rooms and an amazing property. The garden and the pool area are just spectacular. The location is perfect to discover Valladolid walking. The most important highlight is the service from the team that works here. They are truly caring and make you feel very special.

This is a real gem! The hotel is within walking distance of the main spots in the downtown area. The building is a colonial style building with a huge backyard equivalent to a park. Everything is very neat and service pays attention to details. Having traveled around the world for the last 20 years, this is definitely a place to remember, highly recommended!

This small boutique hotel is an amazing place to stay for couples seeking relaxation, romantic setting and a place to enjoy Valladolid which is a city with great food, handmade art and history. Also this is a gateway to some of the best Cenotes in the Yucatán. The staff was great and make you feel at home as if you arrived to your summer or winter home.
