"Expedia confirmed our booking. When we arrived the hotel was closed and when we called someone picked up and hung up on us. Be mindful that the last 15 km are on a dangerous mountain road without guardrail and any ability to pass any other car most of the time. Safe yourself a headache and skip this horrible experience."

"We booked a stay for July 19th 2024. We were going to stay one night after watching the Tour de France on Isola 2000. We left early in the morning with a Eta of 11am. They closed the road at 10am 9 miles from the hotel. The tour was going to finish around 5pm. We had to turn around. It was crazy traffic. We contacted the Sowell via email through expedia and the email they sent us. It was a special situation and we would like a refund. They never answered both emails. Very disappointed.. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The chalet was plenty big enough for us all to have our own bedroom. The location was perfect for strolling down into Valberg. The host and local agent communicated very clearly at all times and nothing was too much trouble.In short, I would thoroughly recommend this property for anyone visiting the area."

"The property is easy to find with plenty of safe street parking. Check in was easy and we met the owner who talked us through the property. Nicole is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. The apartment is very clean and well looked after with everything in the kitchen that you could wish for. We stayed for. Skiing holiday- be warned the roads are very steep and windy to get to Valberg. "
