Very nice place. Ecology orientated. Dinner was very good and breakfast was just perfect.

Really good break, made to feel really comfortable
We had booked 2 nights family room accommodation in the hotel for skiing. AT the time of the booking we did not seen that dogs were not allowed in the hotel/ When we contacted the hotel instead of this being a problem we were upgraded into the apartments that are next to the hotel and enjoyed a large family apartment with small kitchen. The apartment was in the same style and was incredible comfortable. They are brand new and perfect for a skiing trip and our teenage kids could ski directly onto the slopes, whilst we took it at a more relaxed pace and enjoyed the cosy hotel restaurant which served good food/drinks at reasonable prices. Was a really nice break and we will visit again in the spring.

Great potential if you get better of the six rooms
Your experience will depend entirely on which room you will get.
We started in a room, from which you couldn't see the sky, just hill two mitres away from the window. Also the room absorbed all the smells front eh kitchen below, which wasn't great.
We then managed to move to another room - great views of the valley and mountains beyond.
So, two completely opposite experiences from only a few days stay.
The only constantly positive and happy "feature" was Segelene - always cheerful and helpful! If not for her, we would straggle to get from the hotel to the main road - the previous day's snow was making it impossible to drive. Unlike other staff of the hotel, she literally helped to dig the car out of the snow! Surely the hotel set in the high mountains should make arrangements with the local council to keep the access roads clear of heavy snow?!
A most pleasant stay for a 3 night ski trip with my family. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff were attentive and engaging. The large open fire in the dining room / lounge welcomed us every morning and every afternoon after skiing.
The size of the hotel made it feel like a home from home and the quirky decor was a welcome break from the usual hotel look.
With the location next to the ski lift it made for a quick get away in the morning and quick return for lunch and for the little ones to have a break from lessons.
We visited in October. The weather was quite cold already. The rooms were a bit cold during nights but sufficient stuff to keep you warm and cosy. The location and ambience was amazing. Except for a few things like a dead scorpion floating on the sauna Japanese pool, and a few misinterpretations in service, the place is just very unique and amazing
