"We loved San Vicente, and the hotel was one of the main reasons. A clean, comfortable establishment that offers everything you would want for the price. The staff were fantastic. We arrived on a sad day when we needed to connect to the online feed of a close friend’s funeral. Our room was not ready, but they allowed us to use the empty dining room and they ensured we were not disturbed. They alap made some excellent dining recommendations for us. Parking is easy. "Hotel was acceptable, with clean rooms and ample breakfast. There is a feeling that it’s overdue a significant refurbishment, but comfortable stay overall. Important note: this might be a cultural difference, but the inclusive spa visit makes flip-flops AND swimming cap mandatory - if you don’t have your own upon arrival the hotel requires you to purchase both from the spa reception. This is somewhat unusual for a 4-star hotel in my experience, so worth specifically mentioning. "

"Stunning location, stunning views, lovely room (mountain view sitting room well worth the extra imho) and the silence in that valley is deafening. Breakfast simply superb, this is a quite extraordinary place to unwind and totally decompress from the real world. Wonderfully convenient for beaches and the Picos. Ample parking on site, lovely gardens and terrasse with chairs, tables and loungers. Ssssh! Don’t tell anyone!"
