"We wanted a place away from the urban area and this farm house didn’t disappointed us. It is a lovely house made of beautiful and expensive wood. We had to go through very adventurous mountain roads which we loved. Good facilities to have for a self catering location. Don’t expect a big market within few miles in the area. The owner Mr Burger who also lives next door has a very friendly and good personality."

"The apartment is situated in a good location - with excellent bus service. However the apt is on a busy road so was a bit noisy with the windows open. With 5 adults we had to be very efficient with the one bathroom. The apt could be better equipped - more mugs for example. the owner was very responsive to the requests we made during our stay. Overall, a pleasant stay."

Grundsätzlich alles OK, wenn da nicht die Agentur HEIWA House wäre. Deren Service existiert eigentlich gar nicht. äusserst kompliziertes Check-in, kein persönlicher Kontakt zur Agentur, man wird laufend mit x-Mail bombardiert und liest offenbar die gesandten Antworten nicht. "Vielfältige Enttäuschung: Pool war nicht mit Wasser gefüllt, uns wurde vor der Buchung noch eine genaue Gebrauchsanweisung von Schlüsseln, Saugroboter und Poolnutzung geschickt. Wohnung völlig überhitzt (>38 Grad) durch defekte Wärmepumpe, später traten dann stark riechende Dämpfe von Lösungsmitteln oder Kältemitteln aus. Kommunikation mit der Agentur war schwierig. Wir sind früher abgereist."

"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villers-Le-Lac. The location is great for outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and trout fishing in the summer months. Our hosts were very welcoming and speak a little English. We plan to return during our next visit in France."

"Quelle belle semaine dans ce petit village où on entend les cloches et clarines des vaches aux alentours. Belle rencontre avec des animaux sauvages en empruntant le petit chemin qui longe la maison pour mener dans les hauteurs. Maison rustique mais confortable où il ne manque rien. Appreciable avec notre gros chien qui pouvait se promener en toute sécurité. Et cerise sur le gateau une petite epicerie dans le village avec un accueil très sympathique. A refaire !"

"A/C not working. It took hours for a technician to arrive and said he fixed the issue but it was very warm all night. Parking terrible and very difficult to get into the hotel. The restaurant manager ( Loic Lavaud) was the best part of the stay. He tried to help with the air conditioner which is not his job but no maintenance available. He was extraordinarily kind and helpful. He allowed us to have a wonderful meal in his restaurant even though we were late arriving due to the maintenance issue. He went above and beyond his duties. He also was helping the front desk person,there were two wedding parties at the hotel with one front desk short staffed. The restaurant manager needs a raise and job security. "
