"This lovely property is off the beaten path just outside of the small town of Mauves-sur-Huisne. The house is as it looks and has ample space for 12 people. "The reception staff were very helpful. We had several ‘challenges’- the heater in the bathroom only stayed on for 1 minute, the hairdrier did not work, the room was very clean when we arrived but daily room service was poor- only made the bed and changed the towels. The cups were not changed and the floor was not cleaned (we stayed for 4 nights. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very poor value for €9. We were happy with the location because we enjoy walking so walked into the town to eat- the walk around the lake would be lovely in the daylight!"
