"The property and grounds are lovely however the road/driveway getting to the property is very narrow and steep. And while we were there it was quite icy.The unit itself has a great open concept and is a good size; But could use a deep clean!! The wood stove is a nice touch this time of year however there was no wood available to us. "We are frequent VRBO customers. The location was perfect for our purpose, and the home was peaceful with lovely surroundings and large sun-filled rooms. However, it appears to be owned by a company, with no homey touches, and poor management practices. Upon our arrival, there were a couple of issues that needed addressing. "This place is beautiful and conveniently located. We spent our holidays at this cottage and were able to visit Quebec City and Village de Vacanced Valcartier for snow tubing. It's fully equipped and very comfortable. There are several trails very close to the house. The only negative point would be for the cleanliness of the house. We found some trash in the bedrooms from previous guests, and we had to wash the sheets because they smelled of perfume and one of the pillow cases has a stain. The...

"Even though checking in took a little long due to language barrier between the administration and a new staff member, the service was great and the room was clean and cozy. It's a very nice well maintained place surrounded by commodities like restaurants, a grocery store, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or to visit again. The staff is very friendly and the place is quiet and clean. "

"The view alone would be reason enough to stay at this wonderful property, but we also adored the beautiful house, charming village, excellent hiking within a reasonable drive (rivière du chene, rivière gentilly, and the national Parc mauricie), and of course the hot tub. "The cabin was very nice and perfect size for my parents to join and my friend. The one bedroom does have a low ceiling but isn't too bad. The place was well heated, and they even had a water dispenser for us since the sink water was not drinkable. This place is down a steep hill. We went during the winter time, but all of us had four wheel drive. We had a winter storm hit and there was a good amount of shovels for us to use to keep up. The plow came by every few hrs too so if we wanted to leave we could.The host did an awesome job with communication. "
