"Nous avons passé un très bon week-end 15 personnes dans le gîte de Jean-Paul. Il se trouve face à l’église dans un petit village très calme. Le fait que chaque chambre ait sa salle de bain apporte beaucoup de confort. La cuisine est peu vestuste et manque de rangement pour les courses mais on s’adapte ! Good starting place for walks. From 00:00 also very good for night photography. Well received and got a lot of information about the region and surroundings. "Le week-end annuel des cousinades s'est déroulé dans ce charmant hameau isolé et calme. La maison, très fonctionnelle et vaste était parfaite pour notre groupe de 17 personnes. La terrasse très grande a accueilli tous les repas, même les petits déjeuners. Les ballades à proximité ont permis de s'aérer sans prendre la voiture. "We had a great time at this place. It is a pretty location in the higher altitues of the Massive Central. The place was clean and the owners were friendly. The only point of confusion was about the bed sheets. This costs extra, but the extra item was not described on VRBO/FeWo. (If you bring your own sheets make sure to ask them about the right sizes.) "We had the most wonderful time at this stunning property. Check-in and check-out were extremely smooth. The farmhouse has been beautifully renovated and is a unique property, in an extremely tranquil location. The surrounding countryside, villages, larger towns and (of course) the mountains were beautiful - and (in May at least) were all peaceful and quiet. Thoroughly recommended!"

"Nous avons apprécié le Cantal pour ses activités en plein air. Balades, baignades dans le lac... Le quartier, composé de chalets, est verdoyant, calme et agréable. Nous avons apprécié aussi la proximité du lac pour la baignade. Le logement est cosy, nous avons apprécié la terrasse sur laquelle nous avons pu prendre tous nos repas grâce au store et à l'ombre des arbres. Un seul bémol, l'étroitesse de la douche et des escaliers pour une personne grande et de forte corpulence."

"This was a one night stay for a short visit to the region for family reasons. There was nobody around on arrival. The restaurant was closed.There was a handwritten message stuck to the inside of the window explaining how to get to our room. The key was in the door. I needed to use the Wi-Fi during my stay but wasn’t informed what the password was and there was nobody around to ask. On leaving the restaurant was open and there was somebody there to take the key. Service was very poor, but I guess you get what you pay for."
