Fantastic location for hiking and amazing views from barranca-side rooms. Rooms cleaned daily. Staff very friendly and helpful. Unique property, but needs maintenance, with some facilities unavailable.

Personal excelente y super amable, en cuestión de la propiedad, si acuden con niños pequeños lo mas recomendable es pedir habitacion de las de abajo, ya que como estan sobre la barranca, para accesar a las de arriba y tener una mejor vista, es necesario subir muchos escalones y los barandales son muy abiertos. Ideal para ir en plan de descanso y desconectarse del mundo, ya que en las habitaciones de arriba el acceso a Internet es muy limitado por obvias razones y no cuentan con televisión. Comida deliciosa en el restaurante, y en el pueblo no hay muchas opciones para comer.

El hotel es bonito, tiene una vista a las barrancas. Mi desagrado es la dueña que es una señora grosera con sus empleados, los trata MUY mal, siempre está en la cocina observando que los empleados den porciones que ella considera buenas. En cuestión de desayuno incluido no lo recomiendo ya que todo es en las más pequeñas porciones. Las toallas del hotel son muy viejitas. Considero sus precios no son baratos para lo que ofrece el hotel. De todo te cobran.

la vista de la barranca es increíble pero no es promovida por los empelados ni explotada adecuadamente para disfrutarla. Lo que no me gusto es que no promueven lo mas espectacular que tiene el hotel... la vista a la barranca de sde la cumbre y de algunas 4 habitaciones.

Las habitaciones están muy limpias y cómodas, con calefacción y cobijas, no se pasa frío. El menú del hotel es limitado y a los alrededores sólo hay 1 restaurante. El desayuno está incluido y está bastante completo y rico. El hotel cuenta con servicio de traslados que es muy conveniente porque no hay otro medio de transporte. En general el hotel es muy conveniente para visitar las barrancas del cobre.

You are obviously paying for the view and what a view it was. I would stay here again just for that. The staff were also great - although the man in the restaurant did spoil things on our last day by bringing an empty basket to the table and asking for a tip. Our room was quite dated but seemed to be clean. The bed was comfy and shower fine - as long as you waited long enough for the hot water to run through. The breakfasts were generally good and we had one evening meal which was ok - but not good enough to persuade us to eat there again (we ate at the park instead - which actually was a similar standard). They were there waiting to meet us off the train, as requested. We also used the shuttle service to the park and that worked well with the bus waiting for us to bring us back as arranged.

Overpriced, misrepresented hotel with cold food.
Hotel is misrepresented online. It doesn’t have Canyon views. The steps without rails are dangerous. Not a good choice for anyone with mobility issues. While the driver and waiter were nice, the restaurant lacks consistency and drinks are overpriced. We were charged $68 for a small after dinner drink. Food was often cold or took hours to get. Pool was cold. Overall we were very dissatisfied. That being said, the employees were very nice. Needs new caring management.

We are sorry for this inconvenient but we do have rooms with canyon view, you just did not confirm this in your reservation, about the food we will see this with the restaurant staff. Thank you for your suggestions.

Disappointed
The Hotel Mansión Tarahumara was well kept up and the rooms were quaint and comfortable. However I had made reservations more than 6 weeks in advance, reserving two luxury rooms with a single king bed and a view of the valley, but what we were given was two rooms with double beds and no view. It appears our rooms were given away to a larger group which in my opinion is unethical. We were told by Rachel that if we paid an additional $500 pesos per room she would make accommodations. Don't make reservations and expect to get what you paid for. I cannot recommend this Hotel.

Lamentamos mucho su experiencia, pero le recordamos que el horario del check in es hasta las 9 pm, después de esa hora se cierra la propiedad a menos que avisen que van a llegar mas tarde, lo cual no sucedió en su caso (usted llegó casi a las 12 am); asi mismo, la política que marca Expedia es de cargo por No show de el 100% en caso de cancelación antes de 24 hrs.
