Beds are plenty comfortable. My only negative is that it would be helpful if there were electrical outlets by the beds. Because of outlet placement, we slept in separate rooms. "We only needed it for a short stay. In the winter. It was a short ride to lake placid. It was clean, heat worked, had hot water, enough rooms and beds to sleep in. Had all the basics to get by. Just no toaster. Would stay again. The only thing I can say didnt work well. Was the wifi. But it was nice to disconnect. Just Hard to reach our loved ones in the evenings and find local places to get things."

Heavenly Days Along Lake Champlain
"We stayed at Marty's wonderful property on Lake Champlain for a few days during our 25-year Middlebury College reunion. It was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. The house is very comfortable and it's easy to feel at home here. Most mornings we headed outside to swim from our own dock, greeting the morning along with the birds and squirrels. The decks have gorgeous views, and are furnished to make it comfortable to spend hours there: chairs, tables, a large awning, etc. We didn't use the kayaks, but it was clear that it would've been very easy to launch them from the dock. Marty is the perfect host: we had great communication whenever we reached out, and Marty made sure we had all the information we needed, but we were left alone to just enjoy the house and relax. We would return to Marty's property in a heartbeat... in fact, as we friends scattered to our various corners of the USA following our shared vacation, we've joked about running back up to Vermont as soon as we can. We all miss being there already! Thanks, Marty, for a truly wonderful stay. Hopefully we'll be back again before long!"
