Home from home

Charming guest house - luxury room in a gracious house with lovely lounge and bar areas to sit in comfort. So welcoming you felt like you were visiting family. Room was glorious - spotlessly clean. CHeck in early with no problem, hosted my guests and made wonderful home cooked breakfast. Pool was sparkling clean and it was a delightful stay - highly recommended from a very well travelled and discerning guest.

Fabulous pool

Nice, friendly staff. Very, very nice room with ultra large balcony/terrace. Pool fabulous. Breakfast room and lounge had unfortunately the atmosphere of a funeral parlour and had very uncomfortable (but nice looking) chairs. Would come back though. For the room, pool and terrace. And for the service! At safe walking distance to Umhlanga Village with lots of restaurants and close to the beach promenade.

Double charge and incorrect pricing.

Charged twice for the same night. Paid through hotels.com and then was asked to pay again on checking out. Upon realising the double charge a few days later the telephone apparently not working and despite me calling from 2 different numbers Now when I cal the Sandals number listed it says this number does not exist.

Great location, great rooms, great breakfast. I would absolutely stay here again when visiting Durban. It was so great, we extended our stay here after our original three nights! And, I don't think we've ever had a better free breakfast.

Malinda, Gavin and their staff made us most welcome, they are phenomenal hosts and deserve every success. Sandals is a very relaxing and pleasant place to be. Lots of advice on restaurants and shopping. Wonderfully comfortable beds and amenities, outstanding breakfasts, snacks and drinks in the bar every evening. We loved every minute of our time with them.

Don't miss Sandals if you visit Umhlanga

Sandals was amazing . Everything was great from reception to the friendly and helpful staff, our room , the facilities, breakfast to the location a short walk to town and the beaches. To top it off Malinda and Gavin were great hosts and made it seem as if we were just visiting friends! All in all the perfect place to stay

Fortnight of r&r

We had the pleasure of staying here in August 2017 for a fortnight and straight away from our arrival we were made to feel so welcome. Our hosts Melinda and Gavin were so kind and generous in their hospitality as were their staff who were so kind in their care and friendship they offered to us. I would be delighted to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone whether spending a quick weekend or longer. The location just a short walk from the beach, restaurant staff and bars of fashionable Uhmlanga was ideal all the while being quiet and restful in our accommodation. The complimentary parking and Wi-fi was an added bonus too for any traveller.

Sehr schönes Guesthouse in ruhiger zentraler Lage

Ideal und ruhig gelegen aber Strand und Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum und bietet jeden Tag neues. Absolut empfehlenswert.
