"This is a very sweet place, nicely decorated (felt European), with a very kind staff and super clean. It’s also very quiet… I usually sleep with earplugs, even at home, but didn’t need them here! Breakfast was great, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheese, toast, and eggs cooked fresh to order. The only kind of strange thing is that you have to ring a bell to get into the hotel. While it felt very safe, I prefer a bit freer access. The neighborhood isn’t the best, but not the worst… Juan Valdez coffee just around the corner and walkable to more interesting spots. Thanks for the lovely stay!"

"The Owner was the sweetest! So friendly and so kind. Mostly spoke Spanish but was able to communicate in English as well. Breakfast was included and was fresh and delicious. The rooms were adorable and thoughtful. The area around the property felt safe and quiet and was walkable to the Mercado and coffee shops. "

"Very good value- we felt safe and we had an incredible view of mountains but it was looking over a busy street- the breakfast had fresh fruit and good eggs and rice. Nice to have a gym and a pool table. "

" I DO NOT recommend staying at Socialtel Quito. When I arrived, the staff informed me that the hotel would soon be without power. The place felt like a ghost town—nearly empty, with only a few staff members around. None of the listed facilities were available, and breakfast was not offered, despite being advertised. It was clear the hotel is in the process of closing, yet they are still accepting reservations without warning guests about the situation. The uncertainty and lack of security made me feel unsafe, and I decided to leave after just one night. Travelers deserve transparency and basic services. This experience was disappointing and stressful. I hope others are warned before booking here."
