Its located such that you can go around walking. Its very clean. Very friendly staff. Great food made almost home style. Great value for money.

Kotra Hotel

Kotra Haveli, is in an old part of Udaipur, with in walking distance to the City Palace and right down the street from the Jagdish Temple. The room was comfortable, they have a roof top restaurant and the breakfast was okay too. Received bottle water every time we asked for it during our stay. Staff was very friendly and polite.

Great location and central to everything that’s touristy. Great staff and service. The access is through a by lane which has their garbage dumpster right in front of the hotel. Really bad smell and very unclean.This needs to be handled properly.

Beautiful haveli style property. Walkable to major attractions of Jagdish Temple and City Palace. Rated 2 star hotel but should be 3. Great service. Wonderful roof top restaurant.

I loved the cleanliness and vintage look of the hotel . It’s fairly close to all the attractions in the city . Only negative that I can think of is the location but if you prefer authentic experience , This hotel is good option under budget .

Nice Stay

We booked 4 rooms for 7 people. The stay was pleasant. The staff is nice enough. We got what we paid for. Fair enough.

Nice place in Udaipur

Nice white bedroom, close to the patio. Pleasant staff. Very good restaurant. Very good location close to Jagdish Temple.

After an exhaustive journey they made me alive again by such a warm welcome. After burning my caloric since all the view point were near by so i preferred walking, I loved my dinner at roof top with the view of City palace, especially butter chicken. Highly recommended kotra haveli.

Had a wonderful stay at Kotra Haveli ! Loved the experience.. Just a note: the hotel doesn't serve hard liquor. They just have kingfisher beer.

The Haveli at first glance was very impressive and it lived up to it's expectations. The rooms were very luxurious and big and they had all the amenities. The wifi was fast and the room service for Tea and Coffee was also very good. This is one of the most affordable and yet very amazing hotels. Do check it out if you're planning to travel to Udaipur.

Wonderful stay.

Excellent hotel in a quiet lane off main road. It was refreshing to be greeted with a cold towel and rose water when we first arrived on an extremely hot day. The room is light and airy and clean. The AC and fan are excellent! Staff are very professional and helpful. The restaurant serves delicious food, spiced just right and has a great 360 degree view of the city and surrounding area. I could not be happier.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff, good budget pick that is in an extremely central and convenient location to all of the tourist neighborhoods in Udaipur WiFi was reliable, breakfast buffet mostly Indian food, bathroom very clean

Good location, no frills

The hotel is centrally located but difficult to find and can only be accessed be rickshaw. Check in was great, staff are friendly and obligingly. However, you have to ask for everything (e.g. hairdryer, cushions for marble rooftop seat) but when you do, it is willingly provided. We asked them to arrange a taxi to the airport. They quoted substantially more than anyone else so we used a place very close to the entrance gate to the pedestrian footbridge who was very prompt and reliable.

Clean hotel being reconstructed.

wonderful room, but the hotel was undergoing major construction so there was construction material inside the hotel. Also, the dining facilities were very minimal. I ordered breakfast the night before, and it was good and ready on time. But there was no sense that one could walk in and order a meal; dining room was deserted, with no wait staff in it.

Semester i Udaipur.

Vi (par) vistades en vecka i Udaipur och fick stor möjlighet att lära känna staden och dess omgivning utan att stressa. Befolkningen i Udaipur är vänliga och trevliga och inte allt för påträngande. Vi trivdes bra på hotellet och återvänder gärna dit vid vår nästa resa till Indien.
