The owner or manager was delightful! I feel that they are fixing the place up as our room was fully remodeled and nice linens. Don't judge a book by its cover! Plus right next to Minneapolis VA hospital/clinic. We walked over there to sign in and walked back to the VA.

Cool old hotel. No refrigerator in the room. Weak breakfast, Basically muffins and hot pot coffee with plastic bottled cheap OJ.
The restaurant is supposed to be very highly rated but was not open for breakfast and maybe not till dinner. Great location in a quiet spot. Id stay there again for 200 bucks or below but no more
than that
