Great option that’s walking distance to all of the restaurants and shops on the square. The private gated parking lot and keypad entrance made it feel secure. The room was huge - it felt like we had our own apartment in town!
Amazingly unique property! So well done preserving the historic characteristics with modern amenities and design. Great location right off of downtown. Walkable to restaurants.
What an amazing find. Super cute and extremely comfortable. There were 3 seperate rooms. Kitchenette with dining table, living room with television and desk, large bedroom with televion and a great bathroom with walk in tub. Close to downtown, food and entertainment.
Clean, safe, modern with walkable access to the downtown restaurants and nightlife!!! Contact free access and the secured, fenced parking were all convenient, safe features as well!!!
The hotel was clean and safe. Admittedly, I was the only guest in the hotel that night, so I was a little leery, but that had nothing to do with the location. It was beautiful and comfortable, and I'd love to go back and stay with my husband. That bathtub was amazing.
Property was absolutely clean. Concierge communication was excellent and timely. The location of our unit was near the train tracks which added for an old town charm, but one may want to consider a room south of the building if not for wanting the entire old town eclectic experience.
Mary was very helpful, I stayed at The Grayhound on a spare of the moment. It is different from your traditional hotel. However, Mary was very helpful and she helped me navigate through the process.
The room is very modern.
It was clean and comfortable.
There was instructions.
It was very spacious.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Greyhound Hotel. The building is 97 years old and has been remodeled, but it still retains its vintage charm rather than going ultra-modern—which I absolutely loved. The tile work throughout the space is beautiful, and the tub/shower combo was spacious and inviting. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I especially appreciated all the large windows and thick curtains that gave the room a cozy yet elegant feel.
One of the best parts was the location—everything on the Square was within walking distance. Whether it was grabbing coffee, ice cream, or sitting down at one of the many great restaurants, I never needed to drive. It was refreshing to just stroll around the city, take in the historic architecture, and see all the progress and revitalization happening in the area.
If you appreciate a hotel with character, comfort, and a walkable location, the Greyhound is a great choice.
This is a super unique and stylish spot in downtown Tyler. I got the panoramic room which has windows on three sides of the very large room. Lots of natural light. Loved the renovation. An Art Deco style I believe. Very clean and quiet. A little chilly at first, but we got the units going and it was fine. The warm air from the fans does not reach into the bathroom as that was chilly. There is a huge soaking tub in the very large bathroom. Linens are very nice as well. I loved all the tile and flooring which is what attracted me to the spot.
If you’re looking for a cookie-cutter stay with crisp white linens and a sanitized lobby, keep driving. But if you want a story to tell and a place that feels like a living, breathing piece of art, this is the spot.
What a cool hotel!!!! I like that it is all electronic and up to date and an old, restored Greyhound bus station in the heart of downtown!!! The tile and original wood floors were amazing. I will be staying there the next time I am in Tyler!!!
We stayed at the Greyhound Inn during college move-in weekend. I love boutique hotels and this one was really cute. The room was spacious and nicely laid out. I loved the separate dining area and kitchenette. Since it is contactless, check in was a little bit challenging for us, but once we got it straight, everything was great. The concierge was very helpful. We will definitely stay here again while my student is in Tyler.
