"We’ve traveled to many places over the years, and this was one of the best cabins we’ve stayed in. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and well cared for. The wrap-around porch overlooking the Ozark Mountains was a highlight and made it easy to relax right away.We loved being able to cook our own meals—the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked, well organized, and had everything we needed. The water was hot, everything was spotless, and the whole cabin felt comfortable and inviting. The game room upstairs was a wonderful space for our child, and the Pac-Man was a fun surprise. Evenings by the fireplace with the movie selection made it easy to slow down and enjoy time together.The drive in was part of the adventure and added to the charm of the stay. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub this visit, but that just gives us something to look forward to when we return. Thank you for the beautiful view and for making this such a special place to celebrate my birthday this week. We’re very grateful for our stay.We even left a small unopened container of ice cream in the freezer as a simple thank-you."

"The cabin was great. Keep in mind there is no shower but the claw tub was so nice we enjoyed soaking each night. The only downside was the driveway. The host is wonderful in communication about it so we were prepared. It just has a dip where a creek flowed through. Our tiny Honda Fit went through it just fine. They are very open and great to work with. We would be happy to stay again if the need arose. "

"This is truly the perfect forest retreat! The house is wonderfully secluded, yet equipped with everything you could possibly need—and more. It is one of the cleanest homes I have ever stayed in. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, utensils, spices, dishes—you name it. The layout is very convenient, with two separate living areas in the main house. The interior has a rustic, hunter’s lodge feel, complete with unique décor. I’ll admit the wolf mount gave me a little scare, and my husband counted no fewer than 60 bear-themed items throughout the house! The yard is spacious and cozy, with a firepit and a grill area, and the view over the valley is simply breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The landlord deserves special praise as well—quick to respond to questions and very accommodating, even allowing us an earlier check-in. Highly recommended! "
