Dolmen de la Magdeleine ou de la Madeleine à Gennes (Maine-et-Loire). C'est un des plus beaux dolmen par sa taille. Dimensions : 14 m sur 5,70 m hauteur moyenne sous le dalle de 2,70 m surface 80 m² Le dolmen est constitué de plusieurs dalles en grès à sabals*. Probablement de type angevin malgré l'absence de portique d'entrée côté est. Il fut réutilisé comme remise à charrettes au 19ème siècle. Des fouilles réalisées en 1940 on permis de retrouver de nombreux ossements ainsi que des silex taillés. Grès à sabals: Les grès à sabalites sont le témoin d'un climat tropical en Anjou. Les fossiles végétaux, feuilles de palmier sabalites de l’éocène (55- 33 millions d'années) figurent dans la formation dite des «grès à sabals». Le Traité d'Angoulême du 30 avril, négocié par Richelieu, signé le 30 juillet 1619, réconcilie officiellement le fils et la mère.
