We loved the backyard soooo much. We have 2 french bulldogs and it was perfect for them. Plus, there are great outdoor spaces -- covered porch, bar, native plants and gardens, koi pond and all is completely covered in pebble rocks. House is architecturally authentic to the early 1900's, which is fun. There's many beautiful older stucco bungalows in this neighborhood.
We stayed nearly 3 weeks and learned in Tucson that it is nice to be near I-10 for mobility, which this home is. We hiked a different trail nearly every day of our stay and this spot seemed to be in the middle of driving access to all outdoor ventures and tourist spots. Also, the emergingly cool historic 4th Street District and U of A are very nearby.
Being nearish to downtown, and like most big cities, there is some homelessness in the greater area (we never felt unsafe at this home), as well as train and auto noise during certain times of day. The outdoor fountain helped drown out noise.
Overall, a pretty little property and location for exploring the area.
