The host was available and welcoming. The hot tub broke down was not operating for 12 days of our two week stay. The grill was old, the mattresses need replacement. Overall, the condo was clean, but needs TLC.

Great place to stay when visiting Tubac and the area. Condo is easy to find from street and can park real close to apartment in addition to an assigned parking spot. Very Quiet development, 1/4 mile from highway exit. The beds are very comfortable, kitchen is fully stocked with necessary cookware. Plenty of coffee is also provided. Big TV in living room and each bedroom has a TV. Good selection of channels and apps are available. Did not use pool or exercise room but both are nice. We will certainly stay here again when visiting the area.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay in Tubac with so many conveniences. Close to market, could walk to town and shops. Town was very quaint and beautiful. Our host/hostess was responsive and wonderful. We needed to book a few extra days, and everything needed to extend our stay was easy. Accommodations from beautiful kitchen to bedrooms were great. The pool and hot tub were so clean and very relaxing. We would stay herr again.

Wonderful property!

This was perfect for our group and we loved everything about the property. It has two identical bedroom suites and a very nice kitchen/dining area. It's in a beautiful, tranquil community with a great swimming pool/hot tub which we used daily. Everyone in the community is super friendly and we really enjoyed easy access to the Santa Cruz hiking trail. It was lovely stay!

Tubac trip

The place was perfect for our needs! It was nicely appointed, with a great, well stocked kitchen! Nasrin was super helpful in getting us set up with the condo, during a stressful time for our family. We would definitely stay there again.

Tour de Tucson Bike Event

We decided to stay outside of Tucson but close enough to attend this annual bike event - a bit of a dicey choice as I do not know Tucson and did not really understand where we were and how much driving it would entail. Unfortunately, we were about an hour south of town IF the traffic was not an issue, which it generally was. The town of Tubac is quaint and historic and it was an easy walk to the handful of okay restaurants and a really impressive art center. Sadly, the area is a small reserve of beautiful and historic wild spaces wedged in between vast expanses of uncontrolled development and a major immigration Port of Entry, which were NOT charming. The community of the Barrio de Tubac has a pool and is bordered by a famous and historic trail, Juan Bautista de Anza trail, which we walked everyday when not biking. The house itself was small but adequate and had most of the basic household items (stock up on paper goods and pantry items). Sadly, it is just off the major freeway which can be heard 24/7. We did get to see a herd of Javelinas, which were amazing. All the people we met in the community were very friendly and the architecture is interesting.

Ideal location and layout

The home's layout was perfect for our needs. It had 2 main suites, and each had attached and spacious bathrooms. Our hosts' communication was prompt, detailed and very much appreciated and the home had all the essential items we needed while there. Plus the home was ideally located in a community near our activities and the neighborhood was quite too. Highly recommended :-)

Great Tubac Location

Beautiful property. It desperately needs a new sofabed and better/more kitchen dishes Four cereal bowls and three to four teaspoons, a rusty grater...easy fixes. Also, upstairs suite needs a dresser. Currently no place for clothes. No stopper in bathroom sink in downstairs suite; I worried about losing an earring.

Wonderful relaxing time.

The townhouse was perfect! although it had two full bedrooms and 2-1/2 baths, we stayed mostly on the first floor. The kitchen was outfitted with everything one cold think of, except food and two major supermarkets were within 10 miles. The neighborhood was pretty and quiet. Neighbors we encountered were friendly and helpful. Owner took care of any issues we had within a very short time. We would definitely go back again. Also, private patio was delightful. Heated swimming pool and hottub literally 500 feet away.

Clean and accommodating

I am a former owner of one of the townhomes in the Embarcadero, and I rented this unit for family visiting us. The cleaning crew did a good job preparing the unit. The owner was immediately responsive when the AC unit went out, and they had a maintenance contract with an excellent local service company. The pool and the gym are excellent, and the location is perfect for exploring Southern Arizona. The furnishings were OK, but a little worn and eclectic.
