The parking lot is very close by, and we reserved it at $10/night beforehand. Would recommend reading the instructions about parking and check-in before arrival to avoid any confusion.」

While we were disappointed we weren't able to fully enjoy Lake Lure (due to the recovery from Helene), we were happy to come visit the area and support the local businesses while they work to rebuild. 「The place was lovely. Perfect for our overnight stay. Convenient to town. The views were beautiful. Beds were comfy. We enjoyed the hike to Jump Off Rock from the property. I’d rate the hike as short (took us less than 20 minutes) but definitely moderate in spots. (Not a leisurely stroll). We’d definitely recommend Nathan’s place. 」

「This is truly a gem near DuPont National Forest. The property location is as close as you would expect - 10 minutes drive to all the waterfalls and scenic hikes as well as stores nearby. My family stayed for 3 days and we had so much fun at the cabin. It has pretty much everything and the owner Susan and Gerald were very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The hot tub was a huge plus for the kids. We would definitely visit again. 」

「This was our second stay at the cabin. It was as wonderful as we remembered it. Perfect location between Brevard and Hendersonville, comfortable and clean accommodations, and the porch is a great spot for waiting out an afternoon storm or counting fireflies in the evening. 「The cottage was perfect for our anniversary away!! It was clean and quiet. We enjoyed the many waterfalls just minutes away. We were also close enough to Chimney Rock and Bat Cave to serve with a disaster relief team. There is still much to be done.」
