"Bedroom was lovely and exceptionally clean,only thing was that mattress was very uncomfortable and thin quilt for winter,although room was extremely warm throughout night Dinner was absolutely lovely with a great carvery meal.that you can go for more ,but I had plenty Staff extremely helpful and nothing was a bother Hotel 5 mins from town centre and ferry terminus Weather was beautiful,you must take a walk around castle grounds and the creed,wonderful "

"Riverview Cottage is a well maintained, cozy, and well-equipped cottage. We spent a week here and couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations. The kitchen was very well-equipped. The separate washer and dryer made it easy to catch up with the laundry after a bit of traveling. Located 5 minutes from the Calanais Standing Stones, the cottage is conveniently located to other attractions on the west coast of Harris. While we would recommend doing any major provisioning in Stornoway, the Carloway Community store is only about an 8 minute drive away should you run out of milk or bread. Stornoway itself is an easy 30 minute drive away. We would definitely consider staying at this property again if we returned to Lewis & Harris. "

"Gorgeous cosy cottage with stunning views over the Uig sands. 3 generous double bedrooms, very well stocked kitchen including a double air fryer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, good WiFi. 2 minute walk to access the lagoon of Uig sands, we swam everyday. It’s a remote tiny village which really helps you get away from it all, but lots to do around the place, we did some lovely hikes, seatrek boat tour, visiting Luskentyre beach, and Butt of Lewis lighthouse. Loads of wildlife and saw white tailed eagles everyday Highly recommended and Christina was very responsive and helpful with our stay. "

"The pods overlook the most beautiful bay of white sands. Everything you need is there for a basic but comfortable stay. Local shop a couple of miles away ( which is very local for Lewis) will definitely be back. "
