"Although the owners were very responsive, we were disappointed in this property. The kitchen was very poorly stocked, there were not enough towels and the bed linens and pillows were old and flimsy. We contacted the owner and he arrived within 20 min with new towels and a few pillows. The bathrooms and the refrigerator could have been cleaner. "

"Great house for our large family. We all had a private suite with our own bathroom. It was perfect for us to relax and prepare to attend a family wedding on Cayuga Lake which is only a 30 minute drive through a beautiful area of our country. So much history in the house and town!"

"We used this as a halfway point to stay with family from Pennsylvania, New York and Ontario. We had 5 adults and 3 children ages 2 and under. The house had a great layout with the rooms far enough apart that the kids didn’t wake each other up through the night. The kitchen was also nice and open for family meals and games together. The host was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. The backyard was also a really nice space if the weather allows it. We would recommend this property! "

"The location is beautiful, walked in the morning around the property, close to Skaneateles and family on Otisco lake. Sara was responsive, easy checkin with late arrival. Place was clean, airy, comfortable bed, quiet. Thank you once again!!"

"A little bit hard to find the entrance that's behind the barn. The whole place was clean. Had a setup that was sufficient to cook or stay for a long time. I was only there for 2 days but the kitchen had an oven and other appliances. Brightly lit during the day from the windows and just a nice little stay."

"House was well maintained, clean, spacious and in a great location for accessing the commons and Cornell. Parking typically was available in front. Very happy with our stay."

"Rooms and beds are tiny. Owners keep toilet paper on ration so we had to buy our own. They said they would deliver but did 36 hours after they said they would. Owners were rude in follow up asking for a five star review. Literally sent a laughing emoji to my thoughtful private feedback. So now I’m making it public. 5 bedroom space with seating for 4 people in the living room. Good location and was clean. Just old and not a comfortable space. Some rooms hot and some freezing due to ancient HVAC....

"Wonderful stay in this lovely property. We hosted family for Easter here and had everything we needed. Beds are really comfortable, lots of cozy couches, kids loved the “secret room” above the media room, wood burning fireplace just added to the ambiance. Wish we had more time here! "

"We had a great stay at the hotel — the highlight for me was how exceptionally clean everything was. The rooms, hallways, and shared areas were spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay really comfortable. Another big plus was the easy and convenient parking, which made things so much easier for us. One thing I wouldn’t recommend, though, is the on-site restaurant “The Monk” located in the hotel lobby. Unfortunately, every dish we ordered was disappointing, both in taste and quality. "

"Breakfast was a nice treat.........friendly front desk, housekeeping and breakfast staff....pool was also a pleasant experience.........got to cool off after a long day....bed was very comfortable and the window coverings blocked out the light so I could get a good night's rest. Seating in lobby was also very pleasant....a good way to meet other guests."
