Crecy, Agincourt, Arras and the Vimy Ridge and the battlefield of the Somme are all within easy reach, as is the Atlantic Wall and visitor centres including La Capole. Should you wish to travel further afield Paris (day trip by TGV from Arras), Lille and Lens (new Louvre museum) are all in easy travel distance. There beaches along the Cote de Opale are beautiful and each year host a kite festival at the end of April. For those interested in antiques and french furniture, the Brocante season starts in April with many treasures to be found.
