We stayed in this great house for 10 days, 7 of which with a group of 7 - 4 adults and 3 teenagers. The pictures were already stunning, but almost don’t do it justice. All,the rooms, bed and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable and the beds are good.Focal point of the house is the amazing terrace upstairs, which offers the best view imaginable of the Garda Lake. We spent many happy hours here, never 1 minute bored of the spectacular views. The teenagers were happy to hang at the poolside, there is so much space for everybody here.
The house is situated in a gated community, the gate is entered at lake-level and then follows a steep road up the hill. This would be a strenuous hike by foot, so the house isn’t really on walking distance from anywhere, it would be good to take that into account. You really need a car to get around, which in high season can be a challenge, as the area is quite congested.
We were very happy with the services of Domus rental, who have been very quick to respond to our questions and requests, and speak very good English. Although it would have been good to know about having to pay tourist tax in advance. This came as a bit of a surprise to us, and had to be left in cash.
The only issues we had during our stay revolved around the faulty electricity, which seems to be not sufficient to service a house of this size. The strength of the WiFi signal could also be improved upon, but who needs WiFi when you have a view like that.....
