Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
I don't recommend it at all, no communication with the owner, only by email, no phone. The description doesn't mention that it's in a basement with no windows. My wife and kids were scared to stay, so we had to leave the place and book another for the night. The owner didn't respond to me when I described the place by whatsapp.

We were glad to have a parking spot with this rental. We could not enter from the Queen Street side. The only entry to this basement property was a back lane littered with bins and trashWe were surprised by the spiral metal open stairs leading down to this basement apartment. We specifically chose this rental as we were travelling with our dog. She refused to go down these stairs. We appreciate that the owner responded quickly to provide a solution. The spiral stairs should have been mentioned in the rental description because they are unusual and would compromise accessibility for some people, let alone dogs. The other amenities were adequate although we didn’t use the shower. The bed was very comfortable-the second bed seemed to be the same quality. The room was too warm for us—but unfortunately no thermostat. The rental description mentions a garden, but we didn’t see one. There were many shops, restaurants and cafes in the area. Happily, there was an off-leash dog park nearby. In our opinion, this property was overpriced due to the difficult access and being in a basement with only one small window.
I loved my stay here! The apartment was so cozy, and it was the perfect distance from Toronto's city center. There's some great shops and restaurants nearby, and I felt safe and comfortable througout my stay.
