"I just returned from a lovely stay in a lavish bay suite. When we checked in, it was a little weird because we waited for the valet for a while before going into the garage and self-parking. It turned out that the valet is only there on weekends during the off-season. I prefer to self-park, but it would have been nice if there had been some type of sign to let us know. We also found that the first room we were assigned to had a really annoying sound. Nick from the front desk was wonderful - he came upstairs to take a look and then helped us change to the other room in the same category. Every hotel has its flaws and things happen. It's how the hotel handles such issues that shapes my opinion of it. And Nick was excellent. Once we were settled in the other room, we had a perfect stay."

"The property was lovely and quiet. There was lots of public space with even a game room. Our room was huge although the wall TV was positioned so that it was not easily seen from the beds which was odd. The parking was on-site and adequate. Breakfast is served at another property which is a few blocks down the street - not the most convenient, but OK. There is only one time for breakfast - 9:00 am which was late for us and if you are staying there for any reason that requires a specific schedule, this could be a problem. The main issue we had was they said that check-in was only from 3-5pm and late night check-in couldn't be accommodated which didn't work for us. After a significant amount of back forth, they agreed to self-check-in which was very easy. Since staff aren't physically at the property, self-check-in should be offered up front. However, I wasn't told the address of the breakfast property and I didn't discover that they offer on-site coffee until the end of my stay. Also, on the last day they put a property info sheet in my room. So basic coordination/communication could improve but the property is comfortable and charming and the breakfast was tasty. Please note that this property has shared baths."
