I booked this hotel because it’s expedia description said it was in the Tucamen area, a short walk from the PTY airport. Most hotels are, of course, in the city center, which involves an expensive taxi ride each way, so i paid a premium to be close to the airport. Turned out that was not true, as it is located in downtown Panama City. However, they included a free pick up and drop off at the airport, so the inconvenience was the time incurred, not the expense. The hotel itself is very unusual, with frilly curtains and fussy fabrics - the sort if place some might like but not what you need for a quick overnight stay.

Very friendly, clean nice location and good service! However, not close to the airport so that was the only misleading thing. Other than that if you want a nice neighborhood with nice restaurants than this will be fine.
