This is a small boutique hotel that was excellent. The staff was excellent and the building was very nicely done. Located in a quiet part of Tivat, it was located in a peaceful and serene environment.

Magnifique hôtel . Classe , tranquille et très bien placé . Le personnel est très aimable . Le petit déjeuner excellent. Donja Lastva est un petit paradis sur terre . Nous nous sommes senties chez nous , vu le nombre réduit des chambres . Admirer le coucher du soleil sur la baie est inoubliable. Je le note 10/10 . Et nous y reviendrons avec empressement et ravissement . Hâte d’y être de nouveau .

Loved staying here! The location is quiet and still a beautiful, short walk to Porto Montenegro. The view is just beautiful and the breakfast was so delicious.

Our 2 rooms had a large balcony directly over the water with pontoon to swim each day before breakfast, quiet beautiful view across the bay, and relaxing. The modern marina had better food than anywhere we have been, live staged outdoor opera and many shops-if you like designer things. The ferry is 3 minutes an away which saves a lot of driving from the Croatian border if coming from Dubrovnik, the breakfasts are local cuisine influenced. So a quiet place with serious evening activities near but not within ear to be heard distance or view.

I travel frequently and stayed in a lot of places around the world, this was either THE BEST or one of the top 3 stays I ever experienced! I stayed for 5 full days at the Ground Floor Suite with its own, private entrance and incredible view of the sea. the suite was just like home and a flat that only had its kitchen missing. the interior design was both historical and modern at the same time. the bed was superbly comfortable, bathroom was amazing, everything was incredibly well thought out and executed. the place deserved every penny I was charged. on my second night I went out for a dinner at a restaurant and came back with a widely stained top. Marina from front desk helped me a lot to get my item cleaned and I was very surpised to learn I wasn't charged for the cleaning as they explained "we couldn't remove the stains of your clothing, and as that was the goal behind the service, we won't be charging for the cleaning". That might sound like a very small gesture but things as personal as these are what makes guests feel even better with their experiences, so I was very impressed to hear that when I cleared out the charges I had for my room. Vladan helped me check in, Anastasia helped me check out, and staff at the breakfast service was very helpful every single morning. All in all, incredible stay that was worth having a little longer than a quick, mini trip. Already started recommending to family and friends, and I look forward to coming back some other time. Thank you

Sehr schöne Zimmer mit Meerblick, und klasse Frühstück. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und kompetent. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und auch das restaurant verdient unsere volle Anerkennung.

This stay at Carrubba was disappointing. The room was poor; a low ceiling meant we had to crawl into bed, dated and poor quality furnishing, no bottled water, no tea/coffee facilities etc. There was a nasty smell from the drains in the room and on the stairs. In addition, it seemed as if the terrace was not for the sole use of the residents and in nearly every case, was already reserved for outside guests, so when we wanted to get a drink we were restricted. There was also a bad smell from the water at the side of the hotel. The overall impression from all staff was that they were not really bothered. We had 6 rooms booked, so quite an investment. Much nicer places to stay for the money.

I absolutely loved everything about this hotel. The people, the rooms (i had the double door balcony room) the ambiance, the cute little beach on the side of the hotel, and cant forget the cure and romantic restaurant right on the water. Honestly im going to.come back everytime im in montenegro.
