We had a lovely time at The Armathwaite Hall Hotel which has beautiful grounds overlooking the gorgeous Bassenthwaite Lake. Food & service very good & we enjoyed our Garden Suite. Spa was also lovely. Lovely Relaxing Break.

First impression of the hotel at check-in was exceptional- Stephen was very welcoming and friendly, and we knew it was going to be an incredible stay! In fact, encounters with the staff from bartender, restaurant and housekeeping were all friendly, engaging, and positive. The location was serene and relaxing with incredible 360-degree views of mountains and pastures! Inside, there were several cozy areas to relax and unwind. I would also recommend booking a dinner reservation for fine dining as the food was incredible (2AA Rosette) and the ambience as well, with large windows to enjoy the surroundings! Highly recommend this hotel! (Party of 5)
