The women and men who tried to sell their goods, hopped from one boat to another like acrobats. For Can Tho, the largest city in Vietnam's Mekong Delta area, I booked a day tour with Susan, a 26-year-old woman (with perfect English!) from a nearby village. For four hours we biked around Binh Minh (just outside of Can Tho), where we visited beautiful temples, rice fields, and a local market. We then went back to the riverside location for a night in a homestay. I would highly recommend booking with Susan for an authentic Mekong Delta experience.
