I had the private twin room and really enjoyed my stay. The welcome was warm with friendly and professional staff. The cooking facilities in the room were basic but adequate, and with a supermarket only 5 minutes away, eating was affordable and comfortable. The sunset view from the balcony was great. The room was nice and quiet and I slept well. Shame I could only stay one night, would definitely recommend.

Es war super dort unter zu kommen. Mega entspannte Atmosphäre. Das es am Rande der Albstadt gelegen ist ist auch ein Vorteil, es ist nicht so hektisch und laut. Abends im Hof ist es echt angenehm mit den anderen Gästen und Besuchern zusammen zu sitzen.

Probably the best hostel I have stayed at. Safe, clean, great hang out areas, awesome staff, prime location. I couldn’t believe how sweet the beds were as well! Somehow it’s so close to the heart of Thessaloniki but it’s super quiet,cause it's located in the beautiful upper town

No elevator to get up to the rooms on the upper floors and imthos property is up a steep set of hills so walking could be challenging. Nothing is really close by as it's fairly residential so you'll need to drive or walk for a bit of a distance. Air conditioning didn't seem to work or maybe was not even existent but the heater works.

Best place to stay in Thessaloniki if you’re wanting some peace and quiet as well as going for walks in the upper town.It feels like a home away from home. It is comfy and clean. They are so accommodating and will go out of their way to help you with anything you need. We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Very beautiful and comfy hostel! The room was very spacious and clean, with a lot of storage space provided. The hostel is located in a nice area in the upper town of Thessaloniki- within walking distance to major points of interest. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Struttura semplice ed informale. Personale gentile. Posizione a 15 minuti a piedi dal centro. Ho utilizzato la struttura per una sola notte, in quanto di passaggio.

Not so good

It wasn't so bad as it was a hostel. But the twin bed which was on the other bed was so high. I was scared to fall off. A Bunk Bed Guardrail would be great. And lastly toilet and bath was not so good.

Near ruins of the city wall

Tucked away on narrow/ steep streets, was still east to find. However parking, if u have a car, could be tricky. They lock the common area from about 11pm to 9am, so no way to get food out of fridge/ use kitchen if you leave early. Big lockers for luggage in room, individual electrical outlets at each bed . Bathroom only had 1 weak lightbulb over the sink. I don’t think there was a/c but the ceiling fan was good for October.

Das Personal generell ist freundlich und redet gerne mit dir wenn man will. Ansonsten muss man naturgemäß sagen dass der Weg zum Hostel anstrengend ist, da es weiter oben liegt und der Weg steil ist. Unsere Mülleimer wurden, obwohl wir extra nachgefragt haben, nie geleert. Unser Aufenthalt war 6 Tage lang. Das Bad ist sehr sehr klein, beim Duschen kommt das Wasser überall hin und das Waschbecken ist viel zu weit unten. Das Bett war eher unbequem aber man konnte schlafen, gut war aufjedenfall die Klimaanlage und die Katzen. Es war in Ordnung, aber ich würde nicht noch einmal kommen.

Air-conditioning is on a timer and shut off while I was out in the heat so that when I came back it was to a hot room instead of being able to cool off, it is also limited to 24° which in my opinion isn't right if someone is paying for the room and expects it to actually be comfortably cool. All in all it's suitable if you're just looking for a place to lay your head for a couple nights, you don't have a family with you, and you don't mind being a little warm in the summer months. They also water down there dish and hand soap which which not only neutralizes the suds but also the continued addition of tap water to an old bottle can actually cause bacterial growth which defeats the purpose. The restroom is TINY and the shower water goes all over the floor. The bedding while clean had stains and when I pulled back the linens to check for bed bugs there was dirt and debris on the mattress but thank God no bed bugs. I guess I'm probably describing a typical hostel but I wouldn't know as I've never stayed in on before. While parking was available just a short walk away the on-site parking listing is a stretch of the truth and it's a very steep uphill walk on cobblestone if you have luggage. The staff was the best thing about the place and everyone I had an interaction with was pleasant. I'm sure some Europeans will look at this and laugh at the bougie American and wonder why the negativity but I would call it honest and not negative.

Everything was great. The only downside is that it's on a slight hill, so it might be a bit challenging if you're on foot, but it's worth it. The staff were very sweet and friendly. The rooms were clean.
