Perfect place to stay in San Francisco. The area is very walkable with the Alamo Square Park right up the street, and Hayes Valley down the street with a quaint community to shop and dine.
Staff greeted us immediately and was very helpful in getting us settled in to the room. Room was very clean and comfortable with a mini fridge and coffee maker.
The lobby area is a shared space which can be utilized from 9am to 5pm.
Much more intimate than a sterile hotel in mid-city.
Highly recommend.

I stayed at Proper Hotwl last night and couldn’t be happier. The hotel is very stylish, artistic, and spotless. I really liked the Aesop brand amenities, the shampoo, creams, and hand wash were a nice touch. The rooftop bar Charmaine’s is one of my favorite spots in San Francisco, with great vibes and charm. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and overall, it was a fun and pleasant stay.

It was nice i just didnt like my room 418 kinda creepy. But overall is a bery clean hotel with free good breakfasy nice restaurant nice people and stffs are very attentive and helpful.
